AV was popping in SOM and pre-SOM especially. At most 10 minute wait times. In fact anytime pvp has been very active, it was because AV was the go to. Pre-SOM when “The Marshal Program” was running the weekly honor totals got as high as 1.8 million.
I ranked in gen1 som in wsg exclusively besides getting AV exalted.
My q times were instant. I’m talking less than a second poop sock q times

I ranked in gen 1 too. It was all of the above at the time. Concerted War Effort was the go to but AV was still the Meta. I was also Alliance side though so I can’t speak to your experience. The reason it was so good back then is because most players had similar caliber equipment. With the imbalances that exist in Classic Era will never repeat itself under these conditions.
You played alliance. Your meta was a mix. Not exclusively AV. Alliance needed to do some, but not horde even though they did some av still
I can’t respond to you anymore. I’m not really interested in another forum suspension. I can handle a certain amount of ignorance. But simpleton willful ignorance is a non-starter. Now if somebody could explain how you ignore someone on forums, it would make my day.

Hitoki is one of the nicest people posting on these threads. They are constantly thinking up ways to make the BGs better for all including pugs.
That this could rub you the wrong way to where you get vacations over it says something only about you.

The folks that kept BGs ‘alive’ prior to this PvP update did such a terrible job that it moved Blizzard to act.
Era Pvap was pretty much non-existent. The change brought some back.
