Youâve completely missed the point. You are wrongfully assuming that the culture is about parsing when itâs not. Itâs about accomplishing things that are difficult to do.
WoW Classic is a 20 year old solved game. All content has been defeated many years ago, but it wasnât defeated quickly. Today, many players are seeking out new ways to kill bosses faster than ever before and clear entire raid dungeons faster than ever before. World buffs are a part of that equation. Speed runs breathe new life into the game and provide new goals and accomplishments to aspire to. Speed runs are a form of progression and overcoming challenges is fun to many people.
Might of Stormwind did not create anything new. Alliance players have been getting the Rend buff for years. MoS simply makes it less frustrating to to acquire and had a huge benefit of encouraging more players to return to UBRS. Iâm often in the no-changes camp, but this change encourages gameplay, community interaction, and has no negative impact on those who donât care about the buff. Might of Stormwind is a win-win for the community and the game.
Please bring back Might of Stormwind.

In other words, parsers/speed runners are having a real tough time reconciling their playstyle with a game that doesnât support them because the game isnt about parsing and speed runs.
I guess if thatâs your thing then youre gonna have to do it without rend or continue to do it the old fashioned way.

The best part about MMOâs is they are what YOU make them to be. You donât get to define how or what anyone plays. Doing so is NOT the essence of ERA, where community involvement is paramount.

I guess you missed the part where you are trying to get the game to conform to you rather than you conforming to the game.
Youre more than welcome to continue speed running and parsing, youâre just gonna have to do it without rend or rend if youâre MC works.

Asking for MoS isnât defining how you play. You can choose to use it or not. Itâs a community buff. What part of that isnât clear?
