You couldn’t be more wrong. I did pay attention. Blizzard said they would never delete characters and they did. This isn’t up for debate or something you can have an opinion about.
They didn’t say that and they didn’t delete. This isn’t up for debate or something you can have an opinion about.
anybody currently leveling a character in classic right now is a fool. why would somebody create a character when blizzard could just decide to delete it like they did last time?
And yet here you are still giving them money.
Lmao how are people still posting this garbage
not that funny when you have your character deleted after you spent 1000s of hours and 100s of dollars to blizzard. If this wasn’t your experience, I see how you can have a laugh from the out side.
this is the reality for most classic players which is why there are so many posts on the forums about this.
Blizzard was not clear in their communication regarding deleting old classic characters and they’ve made a huge mistake by doing this.
Classic wow was released August 6, 2019
Classic TBC June 1, 2021
There are 15,960 hours between those two dates. You spend a third of them sleeping.
There were 10533 waking hours between those two dates.
If you played “thousands” of hours, that means you, at minimum, played 20% of your waking life for two years playing classic wow. If you actually invested that much of your life on the game but didn’t bother to look into what happened to your characters for over two subsequent years, then yes, your situation is not just funny but downright hilarious.
The people on the Wrath progression realms and the people on the OG 2019 realms are completely different people.
What does that even mean?
Your toon wasn’t transferred your server progressed. Stop being silly.
“I didnt clone my R14, T3 Thunderfury warrior when I had the chance and played TBC and Wrath instead. I regret this decision and that’s Blizzards fault. Please overlook my entitlement, poor judgement and shortsightedness and let me pwn scrubs.”
what if you were in the hospital for a year, or away on a military deployment for a year. should you still learn your lesson about “paying attention”
Wow, that’s a whole lot of hate.
Bravo?
Stop clone hate. Bring ‘em back
Clones are the enemy, how do you think the clone wars started.
Then you missed out. You know like everyone else in life that has missed out. Life is full of priorities.
Of xourse we all know none of those scenarios apply in your case.
These clone thread got a body snatcher vibe.
It’s okay Jimmy, everything will be alright.
It cuts both ways. Did you let Blizz know you were in the hospital or being deployed? If the answer is no that would mean Blizzards big screw up is they can’t read your mind - or predict the future. Is that it?
They would have to be in prison for a year. Pretty sure you can keep in touch with the “outside world” from a hospital or military. I suppose youll just tell me one is in a coma and the other is in full time combat situation in a third world country with no wifi.
Even if you were hospitalized for a year or more in a coma it sounds like you got bigger things to worry about than a video game character you played a couple of years ago. Assuming that character is actually that important to you after having spent a year in a hospital hooked up to a machine to keep you from flatlining you could, yknow, roll the character again and be happy you’re alive.
No one deserves clones anymore than I deserve to be WoW’s lead designer. Its not helping you to keep grasping at these infantile straws. They said they were going to flush the data and we can only assume that’s what they did seeing as they have zero reason to lie about something like that.
They said it was a done deal and lo and behold, if you do some simple reality based fact checking, its a done deal. You’re telling us its not. Totally bonkers doesn’t even begin to describe it.
So let me help you here and guide you to the correct path that’s gonna solve all your problems:
Acceptance.
and what lesson is that, please enlighten us with your “wisdom” and ignorance.
