Also I am not vehemently against rdf. Sometimes I wish we had it in classic but then I remember that it isnt coming to classic and im ultimately grateful that they are staying strong because why would we want 2 retails lol.

I can’t say one way or the other if the game was designed with RDF in mind, but I do recall way back in the day the original devs saying something along the lines of they would’ve liked to have had it in the game way earlier than it was put in, but the technology wasn’t there yet

I like discussions that are relevant to my interests. I don’t care much for building a discussion around a random unproven unsourced “fun fact” that has nothing to do with a question I raised.

as a software developer and considering something like the random group finder, this is the least intelligent thing I’ve seen on this post so far, and thats saying something.

It’s comical from our point of view and childish in general that these people think that Blizzard is actually going to bow to their demands on everything lol.
ESPECIALLY this weird culminating group of people who are whining for classic to just become a quicker re release of the original game but on different databases / servers lmao. Like… what an insane idea, really.
Though I dont really have a strong feeling towards rdf, whats her name was right. If I had to vote I would vote for blizzard to keep being smart and developing this classic version of wow. It would be super cool to eventually get to, say, Legion but with classic wow mechanics and gameplay!

The statement “we would like to have had it in earlier, but the technology wasn’t there yet” is a supporting statement to the idea that they might have meant to have the tool in from the start. I’m sorry you can’t understand the nuance of supporting evidence instead of definitive proof
