Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe in cata you had to find the dungeon entrance to unlock it in rdf.
Also I think I am going to level in vash if (when) we get cata. It’s my least played zone so will probably be fun to see again, plus it probably will be empty.

They could do it like they did when they launched cata. If you never went yo the entrance then you couldnt que for it.
Yes this is true. They eventually removed the need to find the entrance. It was there at launch though. All of the dungeons dropped almost identical gear. Maybe trinkets were different but i dont think so. During beta, i payed attention to the dungeons that ppl complained most about. I learned there locations so when i was leveling, i purposely did not go near the entrance. Then when i queD for rdf. Those never showed up for me. :). By the end of the expansion they changed it though.
This argument is so true, applies to so many people, and is something even Blizzard forget as they progressed from Classic Era. I find it amusing that a few WOW streamers have stated that they were excited for Hardcore Classic because it will “Finally allow them to enjoy the levelling experience instead of just rushing to 60”. Like you had a second chance to experience the game and immediately the mindset was “Rush to max, farm, raid, rush alt to max, farm, raid”. Now for chance number 3.

Cata was the turning point. The downward slide that spiraled into that garbage heap known as Retail
Cataclysm is way more like Vanilla than current Retail is like Cataclysm

it’s been a monumental mistake since like 3 months into classic
at the very start it would have been a mistake to add rdf. However, shortly after the initial launch the boosting plague arose because leveling alts suck. that’s when they should have added rdf to fight this trend. p2 was just awful for alliance too.

Thanks for bumping the topic. I’m sure no one at blizzard ever reads the posts but if we can keep the issue on the front page they’ll know we haven’t accepted that rdf was removed, we’re still upset about it, and we still want it added. With all of us working together we can keep several threads on rdf on the front page all the time.
