Shaman’s were doing unreal damage as well. Yes, no one SHOULD be surprised about this.

I think most of us knew that Enhancement was performing better than expected, but this definitely feels like an overcorrection. I just hope that with such a massive nerf, you will be keeping a close eye on enhancement ready to make sure it doesn’t now fall below the bulk of specs.

then they shouldve waited UNTIL the actual release , or not release the expac at all

I’m so happy blizzard doesn’t read the forums. This is the point of the prepatch.

Not trying to be coy or rude, but is this your first expansion? If it is…

It is EXTREMELY common for Blizz to actually make a post saying something like, relax it’s just pre-patch adjustments. More tuning will take place before release then boom, release drops and NOTHING is changed from the original “pre-patch adjustment” and Blizz makes a post to wait for patch XX.1 or XX.1.1 for the bandaides. I’m not exagerating. Some classes get boned on the regular like this going into expansions.

I used to believe that only the classes that dev’s main’d in raids were the ones that got fixed first but since MOP, I’m not entirely positive dev’s actively play anymore.

Always nerf demon hunter every patch it only makes sense to. Next patch should be: All damage reduced by 35%.

Is it possible to get a breakdown on why enhance has a 25% aura nerf? Plenty of other classes and specs have detailed explanations of why they got nerfed and what got needed but enhance doesn’t get that same treatment. I think it would be fair to have the same treatment as far as an explanation of what and how enhance is over performing. Would love to see a revert to the aura nerd and maybe nerf what was strong about enhance rather than a 25% no context aura nerf. I think you guys owe that you the community. You guys have been awesome with player feedback, don’t drop the ball here, there’s plenty of time left before the game goes live so I wouldn’t be surprised to see some more turning on enhance and plenty of other specs, looking forward to see what you guys do up until the game drops.

The changes affect beta and pre-patch about the same but the difference is beta is using better gear. If they are balancing towards end game then they should have change the spec earlier when they were designing talents cause now it’s a design/game play flaw.

They’ve always been weak to magic. It looks like they’re actually better against magic going into dragonflight than they are in shadowlands. It’s pretty annoying against caster mobs

Sometimes I think blizzard confuses “tuning” with “nerfing”

You scroll the list and read reduced reduced reduced reduced

Oh wait increased

Back to reduced reduced reduced

Running out of time for guardian druids to get a single blue post. Even something like “we remembered you guys existed, but don’t have time to do anything for you. Maybe next expansion”

Stop nerfing base abilities and nerf the Multiplier stacking.

Blade Dance felt good, but stacking 50% talent with fear 20% and demon 20% = a neff to the base ability?

So, what happened to the demonology warlock changes? It seems they didn’t get pushed through. Are they only going on Beta because they sure as heck are not in pre-patch.

There is no way they are using dev resources to balance a 1 month prepatch these are for sure carrying over into DF lol

This definitely could have used more context (especially regarding enhancement). It very unclear to what extent these adjustments were based on pre-patch vs beta numbers, which sound very different. Are these intended to stay after DF hits, or are these temporary adjustments to quickly kludge things into rough balance until then? Why enhancement hit so hard, everyone seems quite surprised by the extent of that?

Lots of people here guessing and upset for something that could be solved with a few sentences either for the whole thing or for some of the specific changes.

Shadowpriest has always had good damage all through shadowlands. It was never busted like warlocks or hunters but it was good. It’s just a more difficult spec to play and a lot of players struggle with it. It also doesn’t bring a lot of mythic+ utility so it’s not desirable

Yeah nerf everyone BLizzard

That will teach them , how dare the players have fun in this game :rage:

It seems like they just want us to sit around with swirly balls. As a female, it’s the only time I have any balls so hopefully, we still exist on the 28th. :grimacing:
