Ranged Hunters are similar, with group support we will inflict mass casualties

There are some classes that become Gods with group support, but are gimped 1 vs 1

Your name is correct if you honestly feel as though hunters are better than Druids, Shamans, and Paladins

Warriors have a move called execute. It finishes off low enemies. And we need killing blows to proc our victory rush heals. KB=/=doing well. I will purposly steal your kb so I can proc my heal. Doesnt mean warriors are owning.

I have fixed it for you:

9: Mage
8: Priest
7: Warlock
6: Warrior
5: Shaman
4: Rogue
3: Hunter
2: Paladin
1: Druid

This is the correct list in regards to BG (Team) base PvP and also 1v1 Duels PvP.

Warriors that are tank are doing insane amount of damage and taking no damage.
Boomies are still Kings of PvP
Paladins are still Queens of PvP
Hunters are still Jack of PvP
Rogues are not able to really do what they did in classic, so they are no longer #1 in PvP
Shaman is not even close to being top PvP post nerfs, they sucking bottom DPS in PvE now because of those nerfs.
But yeah, the top 3 from the correct list above need to be nerfed for PvP. The rest are OK.

Yeah I know how the class works and I still stand by what I said. Itā€™s not just about them last hitting people with execute, they are very good when followed by a healer.

In BG iā€™d still put shaman above rogue since it provides more as elem or heal. In 1v1 shaman shoots to the top 2 with their tank/elem build and hunter drops below top 5.

Yet ziqo runs around brm and 1v2s all those classes on a shaman?

Tank shaman currently undisputed king of pvp

not so much in bg pvp though.

Hot take: BG pvp doesnā€™t matter because there is functionally 0 incentive to do it. The pvp gear is nearly across the board trash for PvE in SoD.

while i agree that the pvp gear doesnt translate well to pve whereas alot of pve gear is better for pvp than the pvp gear.

but i dont agree that bgs dont matter as its the true focus of their meager balancing efforts .

wpvp is a mess and unbalanced as heck and probably cant be saved without big big changes.

If the content is just a minigame who cares if its unbalanced.

games should be fun right?

not an exercise in frustration though right?

even side games or mini games can be and should be fun right?

As a R13 arms warrior with BRE and life giving gem, hereā€™s my list:

  1. Boomkin. If we both pop all cooldowns I can sometimes beat them by staying alive long enough for their survival instincts 20seconds to expire but will probably die afterwards from dots.

  2. Shaman. Almost all the good/ strong shamans are running way of earth and shield mastery tank ele spec. These guys are tanky as hell and cooldowns are required to kill them. They can dish out some very solid dmg and they can survive long enough for their friends to arrive.

  3. Feral. You dont see them often but the ones that jump you in cat and then switch to bear and use cooldowns are really hard to beat. Itā€™s do-able though if I stone form the rip bleed, sunder armor 5x and then pop recklessness and get the deep wounds rolling on him.

  4. Hunter. Super tanky with high health and mail armor. Pretty high damage too. In wPvP they can literally trap me and then stay at 40 yard range and there is nothing I can do. Not difficult if I can get on them and stay on them but they take a long time to kill.

  5. Warlock. The soul link fel guard warlocks are very tough. Itā€™s possible to kill them but all cooldowns needed and some luck. The meta warlocks in tank gear are near impossible still ,but you donā€™t see them very often. Other warlocks are easy though.

  6. Rogue. The pros that are geared can destroy most warriors before the kidney shot ends. If I have trinket and fap up I will win unless they are very very good. Without trinket and fap high chance of dying in the kidney shot. I have a lot of health and plate armor, so Iā€™m surprised if Anyone besides tank shamans consistently make it to the end of their kidney shot.

  7. Shadow Priests. The really good ones are mostly just annoying but I still kill them eventually the majority of the time. Shadow priests that are free casting from range while youā€™re fighting someone else are pretty deadly, but in a 1vs1 Iā€™m not worried.

  8. Mage. Mages are super slippery and hard to catch but in a 1vs1 I eventually catch them and kill them. In BGs if I try chasing them while his team mates are around they will kill me before I can catch and kill the mage.

  9. Warriors. Really easy to kill warriors. I rarely die to another warrior 1vs1. Most warriors are just as squishy as rogues but they donā€™t have evasion. Even the T2 prot warriors with thunder fury I will kill. I think arms is much better in spite of what most people say.

Paladins I canā€™t comment on because Iā€™m alliance but I think theyā€™re same as shaman.

Enhancement shamans are a joke.

Enhance must be 7-9 if we were to display spec rankings.

Combat rogue would be like 10th. Need some big buffs

Shaman so trash rn they have to cobble together tank/ele runes just to be viable and by viable I mean annoying.
