Literally who cares
Read the talents siphon storm and arcane surge That’s why you Evocate before bursting
Also if geared correctly mana isn’t an issue which is why you stack crit/mastery and with all the mana talents you’re making major rotational mistakes if you’re oom.
Exhibit A why Blizzard would never balance around the average player.
Fun detail - snoz, a not-mage main, telling a mage main how to play their class.

To back up my statement.
Ffxiv dawntrail trailer is sitting at 1.6 million.
Wow terrible war within trailer is sitting at 5m. The gaslighting that Ffxiv is a more popular mmo sailed like 2 years ago, you’re living under a rock.
You cant balance around complexity because good players are going to excel on a spec whether its easy or hard.
Then you create an issue where Blizzard has to tune content around hard spec damage, and that just leads to no one playing the easy spec when it matters.
The better method is there shouldn’t be easy or hard specs.
I’m glad they are pruning a few specs for TWW. Smart move.
Yep.
BM should not do more damage than Survival, and frost should not do more damage than arcane/fire.
But we’re in the minority with this.
Well, you’re not really in the minority, there are just considerations here.
in a perfect world, all specs would be equally complex and would net out equal damage.
because we’re not in a perfect world, and some specs are more/less complicated, or are more difficult to actually match the actual to the theoretical in terms of output, specs need to be tuned differently
Nah, the way I want classes it would kill the game so fast lmao.
If a spec has less than a 4-5 button rotation it turns me off
Indeed it would. The easier specs are more played and the game was by far more played when it was easier.

You know what I think?
I think I’ve done something on this forum to really rustle your jimmies. What that is, I don’t really know.
Looks like projection to me. I have no idea who you are.
What I do know is that you seem to have a very common throughline of popping into a thread and disagreeing with me
I was the very first person to post in this thread.
much like how you did yesterday when you heavily misconstrued my arguments (making clear that you didn’t bother to read my points), or the day before that in another thread. This is like, probably the 4th-5th time in the last week you’ve done this, so I apologize for whatever it is that I’ve done to you to make you feel so strongly about me.
You remember. I don’t. What does that tell you?
I don’t know that the Overwatch and WoW teams do that, but it is 100% a possibility that you’re refusing to acknowledge because “muh competitive game,”
I’ve literally never used that argument or any sort of derivative of it.
Speaking of Ls, imagine comparing a completely different studio under a completely different publishing label to make a point about how the same development office won’t bounce ideas off of one another.
Talk about stretches.
Homie, they’re two entirely different games. You are straight up out of your mind.
Oh is he a know baiter? I should have known when he said the last few WoW expansions are better video games than Elden Ring.
That’s WoW-only gamer brain rot.
Easy specs are very boring.
Give me more arcane mages, ty
There’s no way Delfaux isn’t trolling. Others in this thread aren’t, though. They’re just cooked outta their minds
They made arcane decently easier in TWE.
the difference between a good and bad one feels greater than with any other spec I routinely play with.
100% agree. Augs bring a huge variance to the group, especially in M+. Not only is there is a big difference between a good aug and a bad aug (like any other class), but augs also amplify the damage and skill discrepancy within the group (whether good or bad).
I always dread picking up a pug aug for M+ because you never know if it will be better or worse than picking up a 3rd DPS.
Yes, easier. Not braindead like most of yall want specs to be.

You should read some of this degeneracy. My favorite is that blizzard balances spec performance around the average player. This spoken by a self-proclaimed game developer
