Using Chum today after i picked up Skinning to help my alt with mats and was trying to get rank 2. Chum did the blood animation and sound but no event or boss was summoned. The item Chum then Vanished from my bags. i Asked /1 for help and had someone else try it with the same outcome. can you summon the boss or just mail me the ranks for the skinning because using rank 1 to farm sucks hard.
Sounds like a bug and needs to be put in the bug forums as for the reimbursement the answer will likely be a no since its a comon item thats easy ish to farm but thats speculation.
No, I’m afraid not, Fishhead, but I’d agree with Darthwraith. If you encountered a bug, it would be best to report it in the Bug Report forum so our QA team can take a look.

There are several different Chums (a quest item, an initial “event starter”, and the “continue my event” chum.) All are named “Chum.” Some are white, and some are green. Indeed it can be confusing as you cannot continue the event with the starter Chum, nor initiate the event with the “continue” Chum.
