Weird, I didn’t realize you weren’t allowed to create your own group. How did blizzard change your UI so that you’re now unable to invite people? If only they created the game exactly same for all accommodating the many, instead of specifically targeting and obstructing the few people like you.

I’ve invited people non-stop. Simple fact is Healers and Tanks will run their own groups because it gives them power and DPS aren’t going to waste their time grouping with DPS when Tank/Healer groups are formed/forming.
Yeah, if only they accommodated everyone (RDF) and not the minority that want to gatekeep players when most who don’t want RDF just use Discord/Guild groups anyways. Group Finder is just a tool to screw over those who don’t have organized groups to run with - thus allowing the tryhards to excel and surpass normal players even faster. Hence why it’s loved by them.

Lack of RDF is inherently inhibiting to players. Even on a bad day as a DPS a queue took 1 hour. I’m averaging 3-4 hours a group - if that - with group finder.

yea idk what ur doing then if ur waiting 3-4 hours for a dungeon. like i actually am a boosted mage on bene and i get into groups within like 10 min if that. idk if ur really trying or what but 3-4 hours LOL no chance
obv i have gear now but i have no idea what you’re possibly doing in game to have a 3-4hour wait time for a dungeon. like something isn’t right here LOL
im sorry i just don’t find this gatekeeping convo interesting when you can make your own group.
Then you’re on a dead server or doing something wrong. Takes 10 minutes to pull together a group at most
Tanks/Healer shortage isn’t fixed by RDF. I was here for the 1h+ queues of wrath… And this forum was exploding from angry players about it…
This line of reasoning instantly falls on its face once you accept that you have the exact same “power” of gatekeeping as everyone else. Start your own groups, and accept that the tank/healer shortage is going to affect you regardless of your group making tool.
The ONLY advantage you get out of RDF is that it’s easier to just click a button rather than put any semblance of thought into group creation. That’s literally it. Let’s not act like it isn’t.

Gatekeeping is preventing someone from doing the content. Unless people are making it so you cant start your own group and prevent you from entering the dungeon you are not being gatekept.
There are two types of people:
Type 1: 'Oh hey are you lvl 68? You can come to UK because I know no one is running TBC dungeons now so it must be hard to get groups. Let me help you level while I level."
Type 2: “Oh yeah you don’t have full sunwel/brutal no consume buffs and do terrible DPS, you can’t come to this content that is designed to be used by people at your level. Yeah I know the dungeon is super easy and fast but I want super super easy mode and it better be done in 10 minutes or less, going for world record.”
A donkey can argue all day that it is not a donkey, but at the end of the day it is still a donkey.

Yet i get invited with the LFG tool all the time as dps.
Nah that’s just the effect of type 2 players, hence why we need RDF to prevent donkey players from being donkeys.
I’ve done dungeons with both fully geared and green geared people, and guess what, we were able to complete the dungeons just as well in both instances.
The donkey player attitude is why this world is so messed up, we need more type 1 players who actually foster a good sense of community.
