So, despite Druids getting their first taste of customization in legion, something that wasn’t expanded upon in BFA and currently have no plans for SL either, it’s okay for such customizations to be completely locked out for players who were MIA for a year or two? Good argument.

For a moment there I was like “holy crap we get more animal forms to choose from yay”, followed swiftly by nope.
I want my dire wolf for my tank and a regular wolf form for my dps spec for my worgen druid.

Gives the expansion more value as a “feature” than as an addition to BfA that people have already bought into.

It’s quite impressive what these barbers are capable of now. Changing skin tones, eye colours,horn sizes and now druid forms? Seriously, what kind of scissors are they using? Magic scissors?

Flight - Sentinel Owl
Aquatic - Dolphin (would love an otter instead)

Nice! It was kinda disappointing when I bought the Sentinel Owl and Dolphin but then found out they were only active to the spec you were in when you applied it in the spell book.
Edit: Now we just need some Moonkin form variety! That was a missed opportunity in Legion. I think it would have been better to have the weapon have just different colors like Feral and Guardian, then have the actual shapeshift be the cool appearance updates.

they were tied to the artifact weapons not the druids themselves. you can still get all tints and skins outside of the mage tower looks on all druids and all classes.
you were not there to take part in the clearly advertised limited time event and thus do not get any rewards from it. that’s just like saying you missed out on a sale a store had 3 years and should still be able to get items for the price they went for during the sale.

So the Barbershop has now had more Blue posts than Shadow.
What an interesting comparison considering Druids missed out on 13 years of decent customization. For other classes, I understand the entitlement of having a locked appearance—I have one on my shaman. But as I said, druids have a severe lack of options to begin with. Try again.

It’s only inaccessible to ppl who, for whatever reason, did not do the Mage Tower Challenge to obtain it, and it should remain that way. (I’m one who did not gain that appearance, and do not deserve to have access since I didn’t put in the work for it.)
That being said - good on you Blizz, this is a good change!!

Saying you “don’t deserve” access to a Druid’s best option for customization made me laugh, especially since (as I’ve said many times before) druids do not have the customization options the other classes do. Sad.

Yes, because playing during a 1.5 year window and doing Mage Tower is a clear “effort”-based accomplishment.

again, the feral and guardian forms were not given to the druid, they were given to the weapons they held. during legion if you took off the daggers/fists then you reverted back to your original cat/bear form.
these forms were only given to feral and guardian because they didn’t have the luxury of holding a weapon on their back. and they even had all of their base forms updated during Legion (like the 3rd update for cat/bear but only the first for moonkin).
you missed out on one skin for the cat and bear, it is not the end of the world. you still get the base weapon, enhanced weapon, pvp, raid, and hidden appearances for cat and bear plus the 4 tints that come with them all.
you do not get to be entitled to a skin you missed out on. try again.
