This is great news Blizzard. I hope this means it will be easier for you to give us new forms to earn in Shadowlands. I missed out on the Mage Tower, but would love to have new ones I can earn.

Considering the artifact weapon APPEARANCES obtainable from the Mage Tower was due to…oh oh wait for it…WEAPON APPEARANCES!!! 
So you just simply logged on to the classes that you listed, stood still (meaning you did absolutely nothing at all but log in, which shocker is a form of effort*) and BAM…weapon appearance granted?

If you didn’t do the Mage Tower challenge, you don’t get the special appearance.
And that’s fine.

druids most certainly do deserve customization, you just had to put in the effort to get them. i didn’t play guardian or feral druid during Legion but i went out of my way to gear up my druid to get those forms cause i knew they would go away at some point.
hell i absolutely hate survival hunter but i still got the mage tower look for them because i knew that if they changed the way the spec worked and made it good again then i’d shoot myself in the foot for not getting that appearance when it was available.
what you are arguing for is that everyone should just be given it on a silver platter because “muh cat has such little looks” when they have always been able to show off their transmog just as everyone else had plus the addition of the cat form.

That oddly would be the least crazy thing the barber shop could do.
I wouldn’t count on it coming back. I say this because Blizz to this day still has not relaxed the rules to get access to Ordos.
All you get a a few mog pieces of gear for killing him I think.

I would like the option to choose my ground travel form even after flight is achieved in some circumstances.
But this sounds great.
I currently use my glyphs in various forms to remind myself what spec I’m in (I spec dance a lot lately), and I know when I see humble flyer I’m in balance, etc. But this sounds FUN. I can’t wait to play with all the new barber shop customs.
