Chen should be Horde

You’re a literal WC2 horde fan so the absolute only reason you could have to play a BE in light of that is that they have the pretty model lmao. Lor’themar is a wc2 alliance veteran as are most of the farstriders. Sylvanas literally wrote the eulogy for the Alleria memorial.

To be totally honest, I think that Faction Conflict/Pride started to die a slow death when they added Arenas for PVP.

World PVP was the largest driver of Faction Conflict, and in fact World PVP was the purpose for the Factions to be built the way they are (for example, it is why a Orc and a Human can’t talk to each other in the open world). And when the PVP focus moved to Arenas, it was just a matter of time.

add in terribly one-sided “Horde is Evil” storytelling both times they tried to do a “Faction Conflict” expansion, and here we are.

They were part of the alliance for like 5 minutes at best. This relationship was never serious. Read the Sylvanas novel. Anasterian explains that in detail to her.

Its even more trippy when you realize Ji Firepaw is the third most senior.

Rare is it that I see an Erevien thread / post and agree with it, but here it is: I fully agree that Chen should go Horde.

I think Mists and BFA was partially an attempt by some devs to revitalize it and the irony is that spending one patch of Mists on a PVP server cured me of ever wanting to do wpvp again (with the sole exception of free for all pvp arenas in world quests), and War Mode may very well just have put World PVP out of its misery for good because they pretty much had to bribe players of the minority faction on each server to turn it on.

He radiates chad energy.

Denied but only because I don’t think he’d go for it if it meant he can’t be drinking buddies with Dwarves.

Ji Firepaw isn’t that bad. Much like other Pandaren Hero on the Alliance they both need development and screentime.

Hes a wanderer doubt anyone would deny him entry.

Chen did kill a lot of Kul Tirans. Technically at that point, Kul Tiras was highly insubordinate and borderline treasonous with their actions, but they were never formally removed from the Alliance until they left of their own accord. And now they’ve rejoined. There are probably many living members of the Kul Tiras Navy who lost friends fighting Chen.

From Chen’s perspective, it was totally reasonable. He was in an independent nation that was being attacked by an invading army they didn’t provoke. It only made sense to provide aide. But that still means he’s fought and killed many Alliance soldiers.

I don’t want him to attack the alliance again. Would be enough if he recognized that Thrall, Rokhan, Rexxar, goges Baine are the closest thing to real friends he had(Now that Vol’jin, Cairne and Bovan are dead).

Especially on THIS forum.

This is the american forum. Where else would Blizzard be? High elves complained hard enough so this might work out too.

This is the Story forum, the one most ignored by said developers. If you want a change in the game, you should be hawking your cause in General Discussion.

And the mods don’t forget the mods…

If someone flags a post for the right reasons, they do the proper smiting.

Yeah, but it takes a long bloody time for them to get around to it…

Anasterian’s opinions on their place in the Alliance do not much matter, I feel. He never left the Alliance of Lordaeron until it fell apart after the Second War. No different than how the Gilneans or Kul Tirans wound up leaving it, they are no special case.

The fact of the matter is that despite Anasterian’s hesitance they were then and long before full members of the Alliance of Lordaeron. The Second War spilling into Quel’thalas reminded the Helves of their obligations, especially when they were only able to survive due to the assistance of the Alliance. Once they were in the war, they saw it to the end. Your assessment here is lacking.
