Chen should be Horde

first time for everything.

Ugly precedence that should never happen especially not to blood elves whose entire story is that they left the alliance for good. I will not allow MHPs marry their high elf wifes marry infront of the royal palace of Silvermoon.

Night Elves say hi :dracthyr_tea:

I think the political roles that the Horde and Alliance play in the narrative will be eventually be handed down to and more focused on the Individual City-States/Kingdoms standing on their own, and having their own individual relationships with each other, rather than just two large overarching entities.

Bel’ameth is not neutral. The Horde has no access to the vendors and can’t use the portals. What this void elf wants is a new Dalaran.

It’s not about what I want.

It’s about what I think will happen.

There is a difference, but your stupid faction troll brain refuses to separate the two.

Who care about vendors? Horde can access to the city and walk like they want. Even Night Elves are neutral to them :dracthyr_tea:

Night Elves lost two capitals for neutrality: Hyjal and Darnassus.

The Blood elves have been loyal to the Horde for years. What you suggest is usually the wishful thinking of high elf fanatic RPers who want Alleria as queen of Silvermoon because Lor’themar still has clickquotes about how great it is to be part of the Horde.

See, I don’t disagree, but I do believe the Horde and Alliance will continue to play significant roles during this.

For example, let’s say the Night Elves and Tauren finally get a narrative where they bond. It would be a massive mistake not to address the elephant in the room (the factions that divided them). Indeed, it’d be a rare opportunity for the two to not just defend their own factions, but also gripe about them. I can’t imagine the Night Elves were any more thrilled by dwarven imperialism into Kalimdor than the Tauren were, they just held their tongues because they were allies.

Lor’themar: tried to rejoin the alliance, plotted against two warchiefs, basically supported Thalyssra doing a secret armistice with the night elves in Nazjatar

I’m not a high elf RPer, try again.

I have 7 characters. 2 are Alliance. 5 are Horde. 4 out of my 5 Horde Characters are Blood Elves. the 5th is a Dracthyr with a Blood Elf Visage.

My Void Elf character is not a High Elf. He is a Void Elf. Meaning he was a Blood Elf who was turned into a VE.

my 2nd Alliance Character is a Kul Tiran. Because Blood Elves can’t be Shaman, and Kul Tiran is the only way I can play a Brown-Skinned Humanoid non-monster race Shaman.

You’ll find I have no particular allegiance to the Alliance, and realistically I relate more to the Horde. My alliance characters are more practical than Faction Pride-based.

So Let’s try this again.

It’s not about what I want. It’s about what I think will happen.

" * We find strength in the Horde."

It’s funny that they see helfers everywhere because my main point of annoyance with the high elf crowd is their constant insistence on trying to take away the farstriders from the BEs because that’s too pure and not edgy enough for what they want the BEs to be (they want RPG blood elves and not TFT blood elves because helfers have a purity fetish)

I’ve bounced between a NE and a BE for mains for years (I actually only tried playing horde for the first time on this account, on my original pre-cata account I literally only ever had one toon, a ne hunter), I think the way Suramar was set aside with a narrative handwave because a soon to be disgraced clique of devs wanted another faction brain expansion was a massive wasted opportunity to make something cooler out of the narrative than me am red/blue me hate blue/red.

And I think Blizzard will not p.iss off their most played community by pretending the alliance had any claims on Silvermoon at any time the moment the first alliance player enter it unharmed.

I’d wager that most people outside this forum and besides you, wouldn’t truly care for more than 24 hours.

the game’s changed and so has its playerbase.

Since when do click lines mean all that much? Like male nightborne click lines haven’t been updated from Elisande loyalists since Legion lmao.

They’re not going to do what you think they will. What they will do is make Silvermoon gameplay neutral while still being the capital of Quel’thalas, like Bel’ameth for Amirdrassil.

This isn’t the same as saying “this is now alliance land” because they’re hopefully finally dropping the factions as unitary geopolitical entities.

Lor’themar never betrayed the Horde unlike Baine or Thrall. Sure people hate him for Nazjatar but that can be forgiven if he ever cares about his people by apologizing and isn’t a tyrant like Kael was(sadly) which is what needed since most blood elves sided with Sylvanas.

Of course they should care. They talk nonstop about bringing Quel’thalas to the Alliance all the time especially the high elf fans and MHPs. It was bad enough they gave in the first time we should not repeat that.

they SHOULD.

but they WON’T.

It’s not nearly as important and issue to most players as it is to you.

Also a lot of blood elf players could sincerely give less of a damn about the faction brained storytelling, most of the loudest ones being on here does not mean that BE players are united behind you (and several of the people who actually care about BE as BE rather than as horde pseudo-humans are in the “the factions are bad lore actually” train - I could switch to my Legion main if that makes it more credible in your eyes but I don’t see why I would bother; I have like 7 elves, at least one of each, my toon roster is literally an almost perfect 50/50 split for the factions. The factions are bad.)

Being Horde is not defined by the aesthetics of your model it is a mindset uniting those that were wronged by the humans in the past.
