What seems to be even weirder is that it has nothing to do with servers, if it did then why are my friends able to log in and out freely. It’s like it is only happening to select people. I would honestly rather wait in a que for an hour than go through this.
What I mean is that there is a currency inside the game of gold to game time… so, because of the DAYS of delays, there should be reparations. Either in real world repayment and returns or in game items. I find it crazy that a Steam competitor isn’t able to fix something so majorly impactful to customer experience.
How is a maintenance of one hour going fix this when this already been going for an hour. How are we supposed to even know what else you guys are screwing up with tomorrows downtime?

I tried what somebody said up higher and jsut sat in ym realm for a bit and they showed up. but no characters are showing on any server
Got the lockout too. That’ll teach me to take breaks from leveling my priest.
I got in under a new character, just none that were made before the prepatch
Add my name to your growing list of people who lost their years worth of gaming. Recover my toons please and reimburse the lost day, or is that too much to ask of your ever thickening pockets.

had the issue yesterday. logged in this afternoon and earlier tonight. now i am getting the same issue xD it makes this hard to want to pre patch ive been so excited for
Just retried after clearing cache folder and logged in

it wont help, I did a full uninstall/reinstall last night.

Blizz definitely needs to refund us all 2 days of game time. There is no excuse for this when they have been working on this update just to pull the expansion 2 weeks before the release. Basic excuses arent cutting it.

Having the same issue. Allied races are not showing up, all my toons are missing and when I go to make a new character to play until blizzard fixes the issue the character design times out.
