I’m having the same thing.
lol well I am glad its not only me. I went to eat my dinner logged off all seemed to be working slow but I could play updated all the needed to be. then all my toons POOF gone thought the server crashed or something I looked at the realm list I could see the realms I play on but no list of my toons on it. so here we are again. Thank you WOW for other messed up patch.

And can’t create new chars of allied races again either.

i am excited for SL but i firmly believe if your player base isn’t happy NOBODY IS HAPPY we as players put the money in your pocket so sorry if this is coming off as crude or negative but when you got people who dump 100s of dollars a month in into this game and still have the same end result with bugs and things not being polished makes me wonder if i should continue playing wow anymore

Same issue. I even did a clean install this morning. Was able to play on and off today.

have the same problem on zlu jin i go to log in and none of my toons show up cant evenlog in to zlu jin for thtat matter

Great and we are back to a repeat of last night. I was able to get on some of the day today but now every time I load the game I have to choose the server and then when I try to load a character… Character not Found…

Good thing we all subbed to play Pre-Patch and haven’t been able to log in for 2 days. Glad my subscription time gets eaten up for no fault of my own. As well as all the other players throwing money at you. When I go to work everyday (as a programmer). We have stages of development. Typically we see a development stage, a testing stage, and a production stage. I don’t work for a Fortune 500 company. What’s the deal? Yes. Its JUST a game, but it is a game we are PAYING for. Provide your game or issue refunds.

Its been two days now for me. I can sign in but every character i’ve ever made is no long on the list. Infact the realms i play on Tich isnt even on the realm list. Would love to see what blizzard is doing to correct the issues. They happily billed my account even though we can use the account at this time,
Same issue. Played from 5:00 PM EDT until 7 PM EDT fine. Logged off for dinner with my family, then nothing. Logon issue, then when I got around that my realm wasn’t visible… when I got around that my toons keep saying “Character Not Found.”
This, plus the fact the game doesn’t recognize my video card, makes me wonder at the wisdom of releasing this yesterday. These aren’t minor bugs.
One more thing… whenever I’m logged out, whether by choice or by timing out, the game does not remember where my characters are. I have to scroll through the realms every time to find mine. Presumably, that has a similar cause to the “Character Not Found” bug.
“Pounding” on the toon will, eventually (after a few tries) get me logged on. It’s painful.
All of my toons on all servers are also not found. They even dont show up in the sever selction box. Understand its happening to alot of folks. Please keep us updated when the fix is done and we can play.
Are they aware of the situation? Sub time is being eaten by this issue.
Can we at least get an ETA approximating the time when we should try again? No information is suspect. You need to get something, anything from them. Come on - do we have hours, days, or weeks to wait?
I am on a low population server and this error is persistent. When will I know if my characters are safe? That is the minimum I would like to know. Have I lost all my characters?
