Logged out for a bit and when i came back the retrieving realm list went on for a very long time, when it loaded i now have zero characters across all the servers as well

I don’t see anything on the servers. I click the sort realm by character and nothing. I can’t create any new characters either.

i was getting the “character not found” issue yesterday and today. Both times a “Scan and Repair” fixed the issue.

This just happened to me. Was playing a new blood elf paladin, logged out and went to switch servers and it took a few minutes to retrieve realm list, no biggie, pre-patch and all, but when it did retrieve the realm list, it auto picked aggramar, so I hit to change realm again, no characters listed on any servers, went back to one server I play on, they’re still there. I then exit game to see if that will fix it, and then when I go back in, all my characters are completely gone. Like, it doesn’t even say I can make allied races anymore, even though I have them all unlocked.

Update: doing a scan and repair now, will post again if it fixes my issue. That way at least we’ll have a temp fix until Blizzard can get it all sorted out and hopefully push out a permanent fix.

No, I’m afraid not, Loregeron. With restarts and the efforts yesterday we had hoped this had been resolved but obviously it is a bit more persistent.

As soon as I hear anything I’ll pass it along.

I do have the same issue
I deleted a character and try to create a new one, then request was not working. I try tend to log in another character and it was not working.

When i try to relog, i could not see any character on any realm

Take heart, fellow Azerothians. During the day it’s been fine. That doesn’t help you folks who are busy during the day, I know. It does raise hopes for a permanent fix soon. Actually, I hope this means there’s so many of us, we can gain some of the prominence we had in 2008, when we ruled MMOs.
