Now, my Alt Eviline tried turning in weekly mining quest. As she turns it in everyone can move around but she can’t do anything and the quest can’t complete.
This screwed me out of spymasters since I couldn’t even roll for it when 2 of them dropped and I was guaranteed it. Couldn’t even trade it. The only piece of loot I needed left for this tier.
I can’t believe I pay for this crap. I want my lockout reset, this ruined my raid this week and to say to wait another week because of YOUR server problems for a game and service that I PAY for is unacceptable.

Mine worked for about 5-10 minutes, and just as I was finishing the secret operation, with Cinderbees, it started messing up again, so I know I’m going to leash back to a bunch of fiery bees sitting on my face. At this point, I’m leaning towards playing Baulder’s Gate 3 until they fix this.
Just had it happen when turning in the weekly “The Theater”. Because it turned in while I crashed etc., the weekly doesn’t count as a turn in.
They better send me my 30 gilded crests in the mail or im outta here for this expansion. Ain’t nobody got time for that

Apparently it seems to be a TWW problem. I’m on an alt in DF and so far no issues.
I’ve been waiting for 30 minutes for the “Unstuck Character” page to load, the part where you can choose the character and server.

Same. So annoying cant do anything or log back into my alts.
I was in LFR and experienced the exact same thing. It wouldn’t even let me hit logout or close game. stuck in limbo.
it counted that as my boss kill too…
I just logged back into my DK and … so far … so good. I killed and looted three elites and no lag issues. Hopefully they got the issue sorted.
Same boat, got loot bugged trying to click need, then no spells, could not camp, force quit the game, now stuck at a character with that name already exists

Can confirm this is STILL an issue in any instanced content, and ends up locking you out of loot for raid bosses for the week.

Affects every character. After about 10 minutes the game freezes, I can’t log out or exit. I have to kill the game client manually. Then whichever character was active when the game froze gets this error. If I login with a different character, it follows the same pattern. 10 minutes of gameplay, freeze, can’t login. After about 10-15 minutes the error goes away and I can log back in on the affected character, but after 10 minutes or so the game freezes again and the cycle repeats. Tried interface reset, no effect.
Im questing in BfA and encountering the issues there. On the horde island Zandalari to be more precise. So seemingly not just in TWW areas.
And I thought it was my internet going down due to -4 deg temps here. glad to see this is not just happening to me. lovely.
Same here. Killed first TW boss, was able to summon my mount (which the game showed but never registered) and after that nothing. Couldn’t interact with anything. Rest of the group was able to continue but I closed out the game. Now stuck with “character with that name already exists”.
I just did Awakening the Machine, no issues. It seems to be okay on my server now. Hoping everyone gets back up and running.
Not in dungeons/raids, but for me this happens whenever I complete a quest (whilst doing WQs in BfA).
Blizzard, why aren’t people’s subscriptions compensated for the downtime? It would make you accountable, at least.
I think if you loot warbound items, it locks you.
