Celebration Token Vendor?

Well, you did imply that people who knew about the cutoff didn’t have a life, and now you’re calling people trash.

Be the change you want to see.:slightly_smiling_face:

Oh, I was mad at myself, that’s for sure. And I never meant to imply I didn’t make a mistake. I just don’t think mistakes of this nature should be punished quite so hard.

No one is punishing you, though. Unfortunately, you missed out. And that does super suck.

But they weren’t going to keep a bunch of vendors up and move them somewhere else and spend that time. That’s why they made news articles and sent emails. They wanted everyone to have ample warning of the date.

These two things are not the same. If I call out bad behavior after they’ve already done it, that’s fair game. My behavior wasn’t “bad” just for being upset that something was removed and I accidentally missed it.

This type of behavior seems par for the course nowadays. Ask a question, have people respond to those questions, but not in a way you deem correct, then call out said people as not being correct in various ways.

The answers I want vs the answers I got upset me so. Read out loud in my Shakespearean voice.

Well, apparently my posts are being ignored. So I’ll just move on and stop trying to help.

Nah, I appreciate it, have a good one

Hey, I totally get it… Been there done that but it is what it is.

I now make myself notes on things like this that are important not only for wow but for other things so I won’t forget. Life gets busy and we all forget.

You were warned and told multiple times, the fact is you forgot and you are trying to find a scapegoat person or reason

Also this is not punishment, this is a consequence of you forgetting.
It’s going to happen a lot more as you get older

Yeah I’ve never needed to before but that seems like the only way to prevent this in the future, assuming I even want to keep going—set a literal alarm on my phone. There’s been so much going on in this game this year that I’m pretty much exhausted at this point, on top of having various health issues. I’ll probably get my 2500 in M+ and peace out, it’s just too much stuff, and I feel like they’re starting to add too many QoL items to the game shop and things are going in the wrong direction anyway.

Really? I got everything the first two weeks of the event.

I am not scapegoating, I’m fine admitting I screwed it up but I also don’t know why they can’t just keep stuff around somewhere for us to use for convenience in the case of forgetting—timewalking already gives you a day’s grace. There’s no reason there can’t be a universal “shady” vendor in a back alley somewhere that lets you spend various tokens.

I wouldn’t quit over it… You’ll be able to get these pets, mounts, mogs etc other ways.

Honestly if life is that busy (and it sounds like yours is) then it does sound like you need to track things better, so you don’t lose track of real world issues such as deadlines for taxes, bills, doctor appts, etc.

I know it sucks to not be able to turn in badges, but it could have been much worse tbh.

I don’t blame others like you, though:

Disappointed. I was sure this was a disgused “classic is better” thread.

I am just waiting for the WoD event as I got enough for the wolf mount.

I mean we’ve known the event would end by January 7th for months.

It’ll be back in November.

Good For you, PAL!!! The rest of us dont have 38 hours a day to playWOW!11!

Me neither, it literally didn’t take long because the event was soooo long. I just played like an hour or 2 a day for 2 weeks, maybe not even that. I still got everything.

The event went on for a couple of months ffs. Coins dropped like crazy, things got cheaper and tokens dropped even more after you get your first 100 coins. Only thing that actually took time was getting the fel cycle and that was because of timegating and finding the clues.

Oh… ok then Sorry.
