They could have placed a vendor next to the code redemption vendors for a while just to avoid this situation.
It would have been no work at all. They chose to end it when they did because that’s exactly what they wanted to do.
I’ve seen them keep unneeded vendors up for years but not this one…not this time

Keep in mind that there were a lot of vendors and they were all in a Pavillion that is now gone. It’s why they sent us an email, had news articles, etc. Because they knew they couldn’t keep all those vendors up and move them somewhere else.
I’m sorry you missed out on them, though.
I usually do pay attention, that’s just it. I’ve hit most of the events for two decades.
Do you believe in extenuating circumstances? Or are you just part of that toxic American know-it-all get-wrecked work-harder screw-you-I-got-mine crowd? Because I guarantee when you miss stuff or make mistakes, you’re upset about it just like I am.

A couple of things to note: Kaivax stated in blue post that it may be 5 years before these return. I wouldn’t delete them, just ignore. In 5 years, we’ll probably have original and new purchase options.
It sucks when currencies go dormant, I agree. Sadly it will just be awhile.

With that said, while I’m normally against that kind of thing - an anniversary event is time-limited by its very nature. You can’t have a 20th anniversary in perpetuity.

The event will be back next year. You’ll have to wait until then to spend them.
The rewards may return in five years. They stated that they have no intent to reuse the currency, and because it is a currency not an item, there’s no way to manually delete it anyway.

This date has been known for months…It is your responsibility to keep up with this.
You could have taken 30 mins last night, this morning, yesterday morning, Saturday, etc to buy whatever you wanted. The only person you should be mad at is yourself.
