You’re confusing what you want with what was promised. I have not made an opinion on whether fresh is good or bad. I simply stated a fact.
Which can mean many different things. “Hosting classic servers as long as their is demand” can mean progression through x expansion (what we currently got), fresh resets, era, seasons, etc. blizzard has never gave us a clear blueprint or promise what the future of classic holds in the long run.
Ironically this is what your doing by inserting your personal bias.
And at no point did they say anything about constant fresh servers. And the petition I and 200,000 other people didn’t mention it either.

At no point did blizzard make any promises or blueprint about not getting fresh servers… or say anything about what their long term plans were for classic. You are confusing not announcing something with making a promise.
The petition when nostalrious was shut down (which I also signed) only asked for official classic servers. It did not suggest anything about what should be done with it post naxx.
You have not stated any facts, you’ve stated your personal opinion. You haven’t given me any citation that states blizzard would not do fresh (and they did end up doing it in a scuffed way with SoM).
The fact is we don’t know the future of classic and probably neither does blizzard. You have no statements that back up blizzard would not do fresh servers. I’ve only stated what most vanilla fans have wanted.
