This might be a shock… but people might actually like Cata… what they probably had a experience with is the release of content back then was such a long time.
As for TBC and WoTLK only servers, that might be a good idea in the future… but definitely not right now… there were people saying CLASSIC FOREVER servers!!! then you logged into those servers… there was no one around… it wasnt until watered down Naxxramas over and over and over that they went back to Classic… and Asmongold is absolutely wrong; SSC Vashj and Sunwell were far superior difficulty to Ulduar.
A lot of people want to get back to MoP, I would venture to guess thats a large portion of the player base, they dont mind going through Cataclysm again on a shorter venture…a portion that liked the content back then, a portion that never experienced it because they stepped away back then combined.
Classic Vanilla works because the game is built around tension in the open world. Theres none of that in TBC or WoTLK. Those servers would just be DoA.
Case is, when they returned, they*) still had their old characters, we won’t have on Era servers if they are not made NOW with the possibility of transferring untouched characters there - I would even accept paid transfer. If we wait, and have people levelling from 1 all over again then your prophesy:

Not everybody has English as their first language, and in writing you cannot see the irony. Poe’s law is indeed at work here, and a couple of 
s would not hurt.
For those that like me do not know Poe’s Law, the short version reads:

wrath era would be lit. not really sure why they didn’t keep 1-2 wrath/tbc servers around.
Did you ever play a rogue on Fairbanks in Vanilla Classic with the same name?

Because they didn’t think there would be enough players to make it profitable. Blizzard looks at it two ways. How many subs will they gain if they have a wrath era server and how many subs will they lose if there isn’t a era server. It’s unlikely that blizzard will get new subs if there’s a era server. And it’s unlikely that many players will unsub if there isn’t an era server since most who might play era would likely keep a sub to play other versions of the game.

I prefer wrath myself, but i guess that is because where i started my wow journey (1 year vet now), but cata isn’t bad at all.

Phase 1 raids just suck in wotlk, so does togc.
Derpest thing I’ve heard all week 
Wotlk classic was a massive let down.
Phase 1 wotlk was the worst phase 1 of a classic game.
Phase 1 cata has amazing raids.
Not even close tbh, and the class design of cata is better than wotlk.
