Casual vs 1% should stop

That’s the myth you’re pushing

I’d wager the majority of mythic raiders put in a lot of effort into maxing our there characters and will be playing specs with the highest performance to get the content down

Once you hit mythic it becomes less about you and more about the raid group as a collective

Once they have it on farm is when people start playing other specs and they more than likely out gear the content by then

Yes, and see just how much longer it’s taken those guilds to get clears. How much harder they have to work. There’s a reason world first is a thing. They play the FoTM, and clear content. You can get to Europe in a row boat, but it’ll take a hell of a lot longer than a steamliner.

What’s funny is that most Preach videos I see are in your posts whenever you misinterpret what he said.

Ralph: “Well I’m going to drive my smart car down that dirt road full of 3-ft deep pot holes, cause i’m not a metaslave”

Everyone else in their jeeps: “Okay”

And even Ion has admitted that the world first is a completely different thing, you don’t make a game for them

You wanna bet when Blizz will actually pull the ripcord? I’m betting it won’t be till like the 3rd major content patch.

If you’re resenting the game because you picked Night Fae, then that’s just you sabotaging your own fun because you decided to metaslave. It’s not the RPG’s fault. Do you reroll if a new class becomes top meta DPS, even if you don’t like the aesthetics?

So cutting edge raid guilds == the Borg?

That is just not true, we had plenty of sub-optimal class and we managed fine. Sure we did not get Nzoth down, but I blame the 1 month break we took after transferring horde when we killed vex.

Even world first raid still all go with full meta specs to get the content down

Beating the boss is fun, doing the min maxing to get yourself the highest chance at doing the content is what people base their game play experience around

The reality is that mythic heroes and wannabes have been starting “LFR wrecked the game! Get rid of it now!” and “Those casuals don’t deserve loot!” threads regularly with no break.

Reminder titanforging was removed because metaslaves were angry some casual got a higher ilvl piece from normal that they didn’t get.

They absolutely try to ruin the game for more casual crowds

Indeed.

Shadowlands was delayed because, among other things, PEOPLE CAN’T LEVEL TO 60.

Exactly. They’re not making a game for them. They’re making it for you, but they’re also making it for PvPer’s. They’re also making it for Raiders, they’re also making it for Dungeoneers. They’re also making it for Questers. They’re also making it for all variances in each of those. Those that want the harder difficulties. You’re trying to punish everyone, including yourself, by making things so restrictive.

Let’s look at Ion’s guild. This is their first N’zoth kill :

mmh… all BM hunters, 4 of them. Fire mage. 3 rogues, all Assassination…

Looks pretty Meta to me.

It says a lot when the former CEO of the game you’re playing has openly state that creating group-finding tools has diminished the community aspect of the game.

It is an rpg game, not overwatch with raids and I love that Ion called preach out on that.

I feel like all you have to cling to is that one sentence no one took seriously when ion said because of how out of touch it was

dude, N’zoth was easier than all previous Mythic bosses since like SoO and Garrosh, on the account of +125 Corruption and 2 rounds of nerfs. The post 2nd nerf strat is literally “stack all paranoias” removing 60% of the difficulty of the fight in the last phase.

If you didn’t get N’zoth, I’m sorry to say you didn’t manage fine.

In my opinion that’s the people I want to have no say in how WoW is played because their paying to have the game played for them
