you can no longer turn heroic helm and shoulder tokens into tier, you either need to do normal raids or do the dungeons and get normal tokens and you cant buy them with JP, thats not how it was before the patch

yes, you are correct, i can only assume its a bug or an oversight, but if you want 372 helm or shoulders now, u need to buy the the 359 version with fissure stones

its really dumb tho, if you raid a heroic raid, you have to do ~5 dungeons just to buy a normal token smh

If you are doing a heroic raid, wouldn’t you have done normal for the gear first anyway?
Gear does not always drop in convenient packages like that, especially in 10-man.
Maybe if someone only started raiding in the last couple of weeks or so, but I’ve had my shoulder and helm for 3 months now. That’s while having to role against 3 other players.
Is this just t11?
Because I’m looking at T12 on the vendor as we speak, and the heroic helm and shoulders only require the heroic token.

Just picked a random page, but that page has a list of heroic t11 on the vendor, and every helm and shoulder piece only requires a token, not a token and the normal version as the other slots shown require.

this isn’t correct, we cleared heroic on week 1, so the players in the main raid have never killed chogall or nefarian on normal but they all have helmets and shoulders

u can see here on week 2 our warlock already has 3 piece tier from week 1 and he has 372 shoulders, if what u were saying was true he would need to fight chogall on normal and then kill him on heroic the week later which would require 2 lockouts
helms and shoulders bypass normal mode because heroic only players have no way to get them other than to turn the boss to normal even though they can kill it on heroic

No because all my alts have had 6 months to raid.
Well what, currently the bosses are alive for like… 2 mins? That’s going to be alot longer if your dps are only just out of heroics still chasing tier.

Lol i had a healer that was so bad i had to pop CDs on the first trash pack of HoO. Then the group wouldn’t V2K them. Either. Took 15 mins to get to the 1st boss.
I’ll give this tank a pass because it was probably his first dungeon when the servers come up, but he was pretty geared. Proceeded to pull like it was a normal heroic.
He soon learnt not to do that again. It was Grim Batol.
I did GB in a guild run had 3 mages and a disc with myself tanking, cleared it in under 15 mins I chain pulled to.
Granted it helped that the mages where all pulling over 30k dps.
