Can't Transfer?

A buddy of mine made a character on Benediction a few weeks ago, and bought the boost to 70. The very next week, we as a guild decided to move to Sulfuras. My buddy however can only play on weekends, and jumped on last night to transfer his character to find, he can’t. He keeps getting the error saying he needs to clear his mailbox.

• He does not play actively so any quest that would send something to his mailbox was done well over 2 weeks ago, and thus it would be there right now for him to clear out.
• He does not have any auctions
• His mailbox has been emptied.

I know he can’t transfers 72 hours after boosting but as stated, he boosted over two weeks ago. We play alliance. Sulf has had it’s free transfers turned back on for alliance coming from Bendiction. Well, he is alliance and he is coming from Benediction. So what gives?

Have you tried having your buddy post in the Customer Support forums?

I haven’t yet. Thought perhaps I should post here first in case we’re missing something here, but given your response, I don’t think we are. Thanks, I’ll send him the CS forum link.

I’ve heard about the transferring boosted characters to Sulfuras using the free transfer issue from other people, but I’m not sure if people have had this resolved for them. Contacting customer support is a good idea though. Good luck.
