For a second I thought that might be it but I know I only have Mechagon unlocked on one Alliance alt (I don’t play over there much).

You don’t need to unlock mechagon on the character you want to unlock them with, as long as you have the achievement, even with a horde character.

Check your alliance characters (lvl 50+) just to be sure. Maybe one of them has the unlock quest and you don’t remember.

It used to require a Mech-whatever dungeon run. Not sure now that they have removed it.

I’m sad to hear you’re having trouble getting us unlocked.
Read through the thread and I’m at a loss for what isn’t going right for you, though I’d like to point out the quest giver is in Boralus Market at the bottom of the stairs between the bank and the portals.
She’s normally quite loud as you pass by so I’m guessing that tidbit won’t fix your issue.
Let us know what the gm says!

Nope. I have very few Alliance alts that are high enough level to get the quest and I’ve checked them all. Ah well.
There’s a skip on the dungeon quest giver. I’ve done the dungeon on Horde and I picked the skip on my Alliance. That should work, since they removed the dungeon requirement.
Yeah, she’s nowhere around. So weird. I remember her being there for me pre-squish with her constant “Mechatorque is fading fast!” biz but I never picked it up.

Peppermint, I had an idea that might help. Scrap the mechagnome and come play FFXIV. You can play a pretty elf monk there too. 
Yeah only thing I can come up with is a glitch not counting your efforts. They’ve shifted the unlock requirements twice now and blizzard does often have glitches like that.

Tell them this did not fix your issue.
I was told by a GM awhile back that they ALWAYS send an automated response first now… (Don’t know why it takes so long to send it if its just going to be automated but whatever).
You want an actual look at the issue you need to send in a second ticket.

I have to be fair. When I unlocked Mechagnomes I didn’t like them at all. Now they’re one of my favorite races of all time.
