Why can I no longer join comp stomp with a friend? Did the NPCs complain about premades?

Cannot queue for Comp Stomp in a Group anymore?

Same as title. Been doing Comp Stomp the past year with friends. We make it a fun day just chatting and having fun. Tried to queue with a friend today and the button is greyed and the hovering box says “You can’t do that while in a group.”

It looks like you can queue for it, then invite and they’ll be in the queue with you.
