Same as title. Been doing Comp Stomp the past year with friends. We make it a fun day just chatting and having fun. Tried to queue with a friend today and the button is greyed and the hovering box says “You can’t do that while in a group.”
Don’t be mad… they just wanted to make it fair… … …
Same issue for me. Last comp stomp we kept having problems with groups disbanding, people not getting in, and not being able to queue. I think they just disabled it because they have these issues. Idk. This is a huge blow for casual faceroll content with friends.
Having the same issue. Logged on today looking forward to getting some marks of honor and such to unlock transmogs with a friend- only to get slapped by the message “You can’t do this in a group”.
Why not? It’s against bots. What advantage is there?

Same issue here, “You can’t do that while in a group” for… comp stomp.
There’s absolutely zero reason to not let friends or guildies queue together for this brawl.

Comp Stomp has been a casual, relaxing way to grind some rep and honor on undergeared alts with friends as long as it’s been around. Why can’t I do this with my friends anymore?!

My friends and I had been looking forward to relaxing in Comp Stomp for a few weeks, but then it got replaced by the anniversary thing. Then we were excited to hear it was gonna come back after the anniversary thing was over, and we hadn’t missed it. Now it’s here, and we can’t queue as friends anymore. This is very disappointing.

Join a MMO, play with your friends, “You can’t do this while in a group”… I’m not sure who thought this big brain idea through, but they failed.

An update, now I have the button available to queue with my buddy in the Battleground Blitz, though when we try to queue it, we get the error message that we can’t. Is this bugged and mixed up with Comp Stomp?
Either way, please fix it.

There was a post in another thread that if you queue by yourself, you can invite friends and they get queued with you. Hokey work around if true, and I will test it when I’m off of work.
