Same issue, not offered Tides of War BFA starter at all on my 46 faction change. Can’t find a way around it

Having the same issue. Fingers crossed for a quick fix. I was looking forward to leveling all my alts through BFA.

i created this toon before prepatch which squished her down to lvl 11, i cant start bfa questline at all but i can select previous expacs from chromie, returning to present timeline doesnt work either… blizz did you test any of this at all!!!
Edit: guess i ll just go do legion stuff instead… sigh

Old characters can’t start BFA quest. New character (Allied race) can.

How did you start with an Allied Race? Allied Races I make can not.

Same issue. Can’t start BFA on a newly made Lightforged DK. NPC does not offer quest.

Hmm. I did it with my void elf Thursday. They must’ve disabled it.

I started it with a lvl 10 LF Paladin yesterday. Today I don’t have it available for my lvl 10 LF Death Knight.

Having same issue, was 110 prepatch decided to finish the level process now and can’t start BFA. I went out to Boralus via the boat from stormwind and can’t pick up any quests out there. Sent a ticket into Blizz and they responded with. They cant provide game hints and to visit wowhead.

Could be because Anduin and the gang are missing at the palace. Turalyon on the throne instead.

Same problem. I leveled an old alliance human monk to level 50 yesterday. Hit 50, timewalked ended, then got a breadcrumb to get the Heart of Azeroth, but no quests to actually start BFA. Throme room has Turaylon–no Anduinn or Greymane, etc.

welp I was about to start a tread for this but I have the same issue? Since the prepatch hit and up until yesterday I the board was offering me the “tides of war” quest but now I cant get it to pop.
I’ve been playing for more than a year as lvl 110 in legion content (bc i never bothered with buying bfa), the day the pre-patch hit, my character level got squished to level 45 and I could see both the hero’s board and the guard besides it offering me the “tides of war” quest. Since I still had the “hour of reckoning” quest on my log (the quest automatically popped out the moment I hit level 110) I decided to do it yesterday because it’s the first one in the chain and the start of bfa.
I did it no problem, same with the battle for lordaeron scenario, got ported back to the sw docks at the end but when I turned in the quest for “battle of lordaeron” wyrmbane didn’t offer me the next quest “a dying world”. I looked it up, found that since the 9.0.1 patch the quest was marked as obsolete and that I would’ve to wait until level 50 to get my heart of azeroth, which is fine. but when I went to get the next quest in the chain (the aforementioned “tides of war”) I found that neither the hero’s board nor the guard or the adventure guide offers me the quest, which they were offering me before doing the hour of reckoning/battle for lordaeron quests. And now I’m stuck unable to start the bfa content.
I tried relogging, closing the game, clearing cache, disabling addons, tried porting out and in of stormwind and stormwind keep to see if it would pop up but nothing happens. I noticed the quest isn’t being offered to any of my characters in this account, neither my main or the level 1 or level 10 allied races that I unlocked, when yesterday it was available to them too.
I think it may be an issue with the phasing of sw? the quest that show up as available on my map are the one to start vashj’ir on the docks (even thought i can see the docks as post-bfa with the injured soldiers and wyrmbane there) or the one to start twilight highlands in the keep, ergo all cataclysm zones I didn’t do, but I can see turalyon there and both of those quest also showed up before when I had “tides of war” available.
idk if they disable them yesterday night but this sucks

I have the same issue after I transferred my character. I couldn’t see the council for Tides of War, so I abandoned it, and now I can’t get it back.

Same or similar issue on this character. Was level 111 before pre-patch and had started BFA campaign. Now no campaign quests on the Dazar’Alor boat at all except the one for Motherload dungeon.

The same exact thing is happening to me, and I got the same unhelpful reply to my ticket. I was able to pick up Tides of War on a character I made yesterday, but now I can’t on any of them - old or new.

Edit: Has anyone tried deleting and restoring a character that cannot get any of the BFA quests to see if that works?
Edit 2: worth noting, not sure if it matters, but this is an allied race (dark iron) made before prepatch (many months prior), left him a little over halfway, then post level squish and prepatch I leveled him to 50, so this isn’t a character I made during the prepatch.

I made a night elf mage and did Exile’s Reach like an hour ago and am unable to pick it up either. It appears to be hotfixed out, lol!
BFA is canceled!
It was available earlier yesterday on my other low level alts, so it appears to have been broken over night.

It seems totally random which characters can and can’t receive “tides of war”. Brand new Human Warlock got it, as did a previously made Dark Iron Dwarf Warrior. Previously made Nelf hunter was a no; human pally, KT druid, no to LF priest, as were NEW Nelf Druid and new KT druid.
I’m trying to level up with my husband but its total guess work as to which combo of our 2 characters will be able to even play together.
