Why can’t we make new Alliance characters on Grobbulus when we already have Alliance characters there? It doesn’t affect faction balance at all since you can’t play multiple characters at once on the same account, all it does is prohibit those people from making alts. I assume this is a problem with how the faction balance lock is coded, but it seems like a great fix to implement, especially now during prepatch.
Just roll horde instead alliance is closed for business
Yeah, I just want to be able to trade certain profession items across my characters and already have an 80 alliance. Ill probably just wait until they unlock alliance creation, I just think the way this is implemented doesn’t make much sense.
What makes you believe this to be a thing? Are you able to create any characters on Grobb or elsewhere?
Maybe see if you’re getting an error message or what is going on, and if you continue to have issues creating characters, even if that’s only Alliance on Grobb, try posting in Customer Support or maybe file a Bug Report.
I haven’t seen any mention of such a new rule existing, blue post or otherwise, and I am able to create a new Alliance character on Grobbulus just fine.
Nobody knows why cus they’re being very not communicative with Cata, but ally keeps getting locked on grobb. People on the disc think it’s faction balance related.
Is there any actual information? Have they tried posting in the Customer Support forums, like anybody experiencing issues in-game and wanting to get actual information might?
They have done this with SoD and communicated it was due to faction balance, So we are assuming that is why, there is no other reason to lock people out of creating a character of only 1 faction type on a server, yeah?
But yes, now a few hours later they have unlocked it again. Making it now before its locked again.
No probably not, but it has been happening on Grob since prepatch launched and it’s been alliance specific.
