Is Blizzard getting rid of characters on WoW forums?

Nah. Just bugged. This thread gives a possible solution and a blue post on what’s up:

Stuck with Bnet character on forums. Desktop/Chrome

Aside from resetting my password (support article solution)which I do not want to do, are there any other fixes? I can post on the forums via the app using chrome on my phone, but on desktop/chrome I’m kinda stuck with a “you need a level 10” to post on the forums message and when I try to change forum characters, all that pops up is my Bnet.
