Cant appeal, banned 3x and need help

Bans are applied by GM’s upon which a (timed) template may be sent out.

The mentioned actions may be against the terms if you’ve received and/or traded away compromised gold. You will get banned as a middleman for that in such cases.

Your only choice is to keep appealing, they will not discuss the case with you.

Interesting, so far I’ve counted about a hand’s worth of reversed bans. That is over a year’s worth on this very forum. A pretty good amount if I may believe the various “I am innocent” but not really threads.

Nope all apeals are handled 100% by real people anyone saying other wise are liars.

If you received RMT’ed/Dirty gold this can get you banned.

Also bans are not automated, it is always done by an actual human. When dealing with account actions they will, as they always have, use template responses.

I tried to appeal twice and they said they’d stop replying. There is no way those things are human beings. Anyone who could look at the logs could see i was trading myself or giving away gold on the day i was banned.

If they say they will not look into your case further, then it means the decision is upheld. One thing to mention though, if you have received gold from another person who obtained it an illicit way, then that means your account will be flagged too.

Ok, so that just means I need to have a real investigation, doesn’t it? They don’t even give me the time of day they just ban me and then say they won’t reply. I need them to actually care about the people who play this game, i’ve been playing for 13 years!

They have investigated. They go by their logs.

The decision is upheld.

All of them are real investigations. They check logs and each appeal its sent to a different GM.

How long you have been playing the game has no impact on penalties. If you have been playing 20 years you can still be banned or have your account closed.

Lashing out at other won’t change what the logs say and the GMs call on this. Please don’t start.

You’re choosing the worse forums to be trolling.

Hypothetically, if a level 1 character hands you a huge pile of gold, odds are it’s RMT/dirty gold.

This forum section is also the most moderated with SFA (Blue’s) monitoring it. It’s best not to troll.

No, no amount of reporting is going to result in your account getting closed. It may cause the Hacks team to look closer at it, but they don’t just automatically close accounts. Imagine how much money they would lose in Sub/game time costs if they did that! It is just illogical.

What was the reason they gave you? Specifically? Becasue your activites could fall under a few categories:

  • Abusive Chat if you were advertising any gambling, or other spamming in chats
  • Scamming if you were scamming people in the gambling department
  • Exploitive activity or abuse of the economy if you were moving illicit gold through your account.

Note that nobody in game can see illicit gold - that would come from an investigation tracing gold. Blizzard does not allow any form of real money gold purchase outside the Blizzard token system. If you receive and transfer illicit gold, they can, and will, penalize the account. Oh, and it takes more than a single accidental receipt of illicit gold for an account to be closed I think. They are more likely to do a Suspension first, esp if it is not a direct from a gold seller. It is either direct dealing with illicit sellers, or multiple pass throughs. I think.

It has been, and it has been upheld. It’s sent to a different GM each time it’s appealed and they have said it’s final.

Always has been if it’s traded or mailed to you. Also there are often times major red flags (such as a level 1 character giving you 1 mil gold and refusing to trade on their main etc).

Because all 3 broke ToS. And for a Perma ban to take place it means that the offense must have been extremely severe.

They will not go in depth about why your account was banned if it’s dealing with RMT’ed gold or how it was detected etc.

They didnt break tos i was doing a gold giveaway on them on the day i got banned and announce ppl who won in /say

Blizzards logs say you did and I assume it’s for RMT.

What you were currently doing doesn’t have to be the reason why you were banned. It could have been something else that happened weeks prior.

I swear on my mother i never did any RMT and its why i want to appeal but they dont even do anything but give me the same lame reply

Yes, if they can prove that the actions happened when the account was compromised, they have been able to help. They still are. They can’t always restore everything, but they do help get stolen accounts back.

Part of those investigation is tracing what the bad guys did with the hacked account. Usually they strip the gold, sell it, bot with the account, and advertise with the account. That stolen and botted gold gets traced and removed. If you gave illicit to people, it got removed from them. They don’t just return hacked accounts…they clean up the whole mess and rest of the people involved as best they can.

Not saying that was your situation as I don’t work for Blizz and can’t see the logs, but it seems like an educated guess.

Account closure for cause is a very different thing. If three accounts were closed then it most certainly was due to those accounts being flagged by the anti-cheat software and/or by the folks doing investigations.

They seriously don’t want people engaging in movement of illicit, usually stolen, gold.

Appeals are designed for you to see if Blizzard has made an error on there end. They aren’t designed for you to pleaded your case. Yes, Blizzard does listen. And the last thing they ever want to do is to suspend, or let alone, ban anyone. But they also have to follow policies to ensure the game is safe and enjoyable for everyone.

I fixed that, because one, I would not blame a group of people based on country of origin. And we all don’t know whether we one day might obtain gold illicitly. It is a risk from just playing the game. But the rules are clear. Blizzard’s policies are clear. Now, I would suggest to stop.
