I tried the following:
- Deleted Cache, WTF, Interface Folders
- Deleted all load outs
- Logged out of character for 1 hour
- Logged to another character to play around with their talents and the back
- Deleted and restored character
Nothing worked.
Nothing works. People tried faction change (not sure for server transfer yet) delete restore reinstall the game. There shouldn’t of be an issue with the server not the client.
Would be nice if they responded to us. This was on the beta and somehow made it to live.
Have now bugged it out to the point where I can get 29 talents on the left side but Kill Command won’t learn itself by default. Other characters of the same class work fine.
It seems to be character/spec-specific only and server-related. The entire talent tree can be bugged out. Logout and waiting solves many issues but the choice nodes are not fixed.

I guess this is Blizz’s way of telling me to stop being a coward and play Disc but I want to be spoopy!!!
To avoid frustration for others, I had some spare server transfers on my account. Tried one out of desparation. The problem was NOT fixed

Just checked and still broken. My war has been unusable since Wed last week.
I just tried Party Sync to see if that would work and that did not do anything. Seems character specific because my other hunter is fine. 21 days to answer a ticket though.
UPDATE: …nothing lol. Still not able to change talents on my Shaman as ele. Seems to be stuck to Fire/Storm Elemental, and yes specific to character only (my level 39 shaman can select the talents no problem). Posting this from my main character thats having the issue in case blizz wants to take a look please.

Logged in today and now I can’t spec past the middle row with any talents.
Try logging out and logging in a few times. It should fix some but not all talent (choice nodes are forever bugged).
Yeah I was able to fix it back to where it was but definitely the choice nodes are still broken. Alpha Predator and Intimidation nodes.
Well small update, it’s allowing me to select Storm Elemental but not Fire Elemental. If I select Storm it allows me to setup talents fine, but as soon as I change to Fire Ele it bugs out.
It’s the same with mine. I can pick the other choice node but not specific ones.
That’s how it typically works. For some choice nodes, you cannot select anything. For some others, you can select only one.
On my Demon Hunter:
Class Tree: Relentless Pursuit/Unnatural Malice, None of them works
Havoc Spec Tree: Fodder to the Flame/Elysian Decree. I can only pick Elysian Decree.
The same choice nodes exist in the vengeance class tree and the same choice node in the vengeance spec tree. Everything works in that spec.

Well, I highly doubt a GM can help you here, only to reassure you it is being looked at. It seems to be an engineering problem.

Went to the Beta and tried to replicate the issue and also reported it on there.
