I spent a little bit of time yesterday trying to break one of my other hunter’s talent trees, but could not fudge up a website’s calculator enough to make it happen. I was able to get the Error: The loadout you are trying to import was saved from an old version message to pop, but it didn’t break my tree on this Alt like it did on my main.

I’ve mentioned this issue on a couple other threads but I’m having the same “unable to learn talents issue” since the day after pre patch release. My only issue seems to be choosing Piercing Fangs as BM. That’s the o ky time I’ve gotten the message.
I am also having this issue right now. Just started. Tried redoing the whole spec and I still can’t apply talents. Currently can’t pick a spec.
my other specs, like guardian work fine
its just feral, i have 6 points left and when i finish the last remaining points and hit apply, it says unable to learn talent
Folks here had pointed out the “stuck” talents seem to be those with 2 choices, like for BM, it has been choosing between Intimidation/Improved Explosive Trap or Piercing Fangs/Killer Cobra. Have you been able to pinpoint the talent(s) that is causing your issue? Curious if it follows a similar pattern.
Killenger, I have narrowed it down to
Intimidation / Explosive
and
Killer Instinct / Alpha Predator
I already have Piercing Fangs selected prior on an alternate spec so it kept it the same.
EDIT
I can select High Explosive Trap
I cannot select Intimidation and Alpha Predator
Just Piercing fangs for me. I seem to be able to swap anything else around

Currently can’t play BM because of this. I also logged out and back in and it wiped out all my buttons.
My ui keeps telling me “unable to learn talent” can anybody help my fix it?
The only thing you can do is wait I guess. Blizzard hasn’t acknowledged the problem yet.

Just updating to say this still is not fixed, and am unable to enact any talents as elemental. Is Blizz acknowledging this issue yet? I haven’t transferred my character or made any changes to it (like realm transfer/faction change/name change etc.), yet am unable to play the spec at all. Seems to be at the Fire/Storm elemental talent point (which is very early in the tree), but can’t confirm.
I read on the beta forums that players logged onto another character for 30m - 1hr and logged back over and that fixed. Currently testing now and will update.
I’ll test as well, keep us updated please!
We have been having this problem for 5+ days. Some talents get fixed but the choice nodes haven’t been so far.
Tried after 30 mins on my alt Paladin, and nothing. Would really love some acknowledgement from a blue post on this at the very least.
