Issue seems to have started just after I fell off the mount going from Oribos. The connection just stalls out and I cannot even reach the character screen. Is anyone else having a similar issue atm? Attempts to click “Help” result in this.
That wasn’t the issue. The Authentication servers seemed to have crashed for a bit, but are coming back online. I was finally able to get back in-game, but it took about 15 minutes of attempting to login.
I did the repair. It promptly said something broke as it was completing. Now WoW wants to update but refuses to and claims it’s waiting on another update.
Nope.. Additionally the Beta (which I just hard deleted from my SSD) was trying to update, and so is retail. Attempts to update inform me that it’s waiting on another update. As a result I cannot connect.
I have Claro and I can’t connect to anything from blizzard not event support, right now I’m using 4g to access the forum, is this a Claro problem? And do you know if it will take long to come back?
How many times do I have to deal with this message? When the repair tool does this, recurring cycle I swear it is beyond frustrating. I wait through the entire process and it does this over and over and over and over again.
Edit: Third Repair Tool attempt. Joy. Could someone at least ascertain that my characters are not online or doing anything while I’m stuck in yet another infinite loop of updates like I was back in August when this crap manifested the first time?
That was this issue for the record.
Well, at least I know it’s not related to my SSD then either or FAT32 or NTFS formats. I know this because I have played on the exact same SSD and on FAT32 since I corrected that issue months ago. FAT32 is smoother and less glitch prone for my PC than the NTFS format for some reason.
Hi, when I try to log in, it says all realms are incompatible. Anyone else having this issue? I have Comcast and I’m on a Mac as well. Sounds like I may be SOL… at the moment
Were you able to get on Lacryma?
Nope. Still dealing with the repair tool. Not sure why but at the tail end of it, it always flips out and can’t finish it’s work when situations like this arise. The error is always time and again BLZBNTAGT00000BB8.
Incompatible means you need your client to update, Cristalyn. If it doesn’t automatically - shut everything down - and relaunch the launcher it should pick it up.
Comcast I know leases fiber to other carriers as well as providing meetpoint terminations for long haul services, so it could potentially impact Frontier as well. Seems like a frequent occurrence that the network is designed with equipment diversity in mind on the end points, but if they aren’t from different third parties, they could all be going through the same path on their network.
