Cannot Connect:

Guess I will do a full reinstall. Bet I still run into the repair tool after that though.

…Yep. Sitting at 8 of 744 Data Indices.

You might be best to reach out to the Tech Support forums or via a ticket to see if Tech Support can lend you a hand.

Re: Cannot access battle.net

Have you tried accessing the self-move tool via mobile phone, Lacryma? And not over wifi, but over mobile data. This can sometimes side-step ISP and other nearby issues.

Re: Repairs

I’m inclined to suggest double-checking routing, Lacryma. If the repair tool can’t download and replace broken files, it won’t be able to help.

Checking into the error code you provided, I see:

This error is caused by a problem downloading or writing new update data.

I can confirm that I also cannot connect using Claro.

same here i have claro and cant connect. any chance to get like a prognostic for when things are comming back?

The problem is blizzard sided. Their ports/routes for these providers are malfunctioning. Do not go contacting your local support if your internet is working fine. I’ve been navigating and playing normally any other game and even hosting it to other friends, and it is working just fine. So let blizzard work it out and relax until then.

Reset your routers

Yeah same here but i’m using frontier so idk

Don’t forget the internet is infrastructure owned by numerous entities. It doesn’t have to be a Blizzard issue or an ISP issue for it to affect you, and not other people.

You have no idea WHERE the issue rests unless you do a trace route to find out where the problem starts. I did, and it was about half way to the Blizzard servers. Therefore, it is an issue with a node somewhere and taking it up with your ISP would be the correct thing to do.

Finally it resolved. No idea how long but maybe now I can do something.

…But I was kicked off my mount going into Ardenweald. As was the case when the issue started, it was another ‘instance not found’. Either this is on Blizzard’s end, or my ISP is simply the most incompetent and overpriced service provider in the state. I don’t know which it is, but hopefully one of them resolve this.
