Steam got the good MMOs too, they got Elder Scrolls Online or Albion Online if you want something modern that respects player time, EverQuest if you want something like WoW but hasn’t had a graphical upgrade in 22 years
So, i guess you do though, take the “trust me bro” approach to info gathering… i mean someone on the forums said something, and you believed it, even calling it “weird behavior” without asking how they could possibly know all that?
nobody is forcing casuals into any thing. They made content with a cool reward IF people WANT to try. Yes the MT is hard and yes it can be unfun if you don’t win but this game needs hard casual content. If some players don’t like hard casual content then they can avoid it.
It’s amusing you say this. I was actually the first person to call this out in this thread. I don’t usually go out of my way to prove anything on the forum, but I’ll do it for you.
^this is where I first called it out.
Now, here’s my proof.
Feel free to scroll around through their achievements, you’ll notice it’s the same account.
There are many websites and tools out there that show alts and account activity, so to find alts you don’t really need to go looking through pets and mounts, most people give themselves away. lol
I do want to applaud you for not trusting any of the trust me, bro stuff out there and that you did actually question it, that’s why I went ahead and decided to actually show you.
Finally got this thing working in Opensuse 15.3, it involved having to use Lutris (wine “wrapper”) and figuring out running a different “wine prefix” and the 6.13 wine-staging of that with the dxvk 1.9.1 with winetricks.
Happy NEW YEAR~!~!!!
Boy, I’m surprised how well Shadowlands runs on my “potato!” That is, it runs well after I shut down a lot of the HORRIBLE DEFAULTS wow did; why would it think my system can handle 16x anisotropic filtering? GOOD GOSH!
Now I’m about 56 FPS, Nvidia Geforce 750 TI 2 gig memory, 8 gig system ram, intel 3200 TWO proc processor (yes, TWO, remember those ) Opensuse 15.3, Lutris/wine prefix 16.3 wine dxvk 1.9.1.
Its basically just that chores and busy work i unsubbed after 2 months after quitting for a year this is not a fun game anymore except for the hamsters who love endless treadmills.
Wow used to give you a sense of accomplishment, that’s the issue there is none its one more box to grind, one more currency to grind, one more…
This is the reason you dont pull devs from legal dept they have no vision besides endless tedious work.
No aw I’m good. As a casual player who hasn’t raided since wrath and never done M+ or PvP since the 15 year anniversary I am doing good. Between work and kids, I okay just enough to not burn out or not enjoy it.
I’ve come to truly hate WQs. Nothing like being out in the world when a talking head text box comes up “HIGH EXALTED CHAMPION KING!! WE NEED YOUR HELP…”
I mean no one is making people do anything really… if you dont wanna grind or do dailys dont do them no one is making you … to say that the game is a weight on your shoulders is kinda taking it too far since games is a way of entertainment, and if a game is not fun one would not keep playing it right ?
