I mainly resubbed for Mage Tower, was very disappointed in how it was implemented and planned to unsub again before the month was over.
However, for fits and giggles, I started collecting mog thru professions, farming and vendors (I am now the proud owner of both Sulfuron Hammer and Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker!) and ended up having a great time with it so there is a good chance I am going to stay subbed come the New Year.
I mean, no, it is not the amazing immersive adventure I was enjoying, but it is still much more fun than my experience in Legion and have ended up exploring more of the World as I farm patterns/mats/gear and search out various vendors so it works.

No thanks. I am still having fun in WoW. Looking forward to 9.2 and then next expansion too. See ya in 9.2 or next expansion!
As long as I can play for free with gold I am never going anywhere.

Not everyone not enjoying the game. Just because youâre leaving doesnât mean everyone else needs too. If you jumped off a bridge, would you expect the rest of the world to do the same, probably not. I dislike the idea everyone has to be a follower just to validate oneâs own choice in life.
Youâre not entertained by WoW, good then take a break by all means or even fully quit. But donât expect or tell others they should do the same just because you did.
I BET, OP not unhappy with WoW at all, just one thing like Mage Tower he cant doâŠ

im just playing when I want to, getting this pally ready for raids with my guild in 9.2 and when I feel im bored im just slow leveling and enjoying a druid on season of mastery when I feel like I dont wanna play that anymore? oh ya I log outâŠ

I do, heâs a little kid throwing a temper tantrum hoping other little kids will side with him but they wont, they have their own trolling and greifing things going on and dont care.
Definitely donât play the game if it feels like a compulsive habit. I see a lot of people who just use WoW as a means to perpetuate unhappiness and negativity. Thereâs a lot wrong with the game, but odds are if youâre still playing then thereâs got to be something still enjoyable about it. Just give some thought to how you value your time and you can enjoy WoW or be free of it as you see necessary!
Maybe they just like the forums more than the actual game

Happy New Year.
A lot of people have left, some with a post some not, and some just waiting for subs to run out. From viewing the negative responses and a ton of people Iâve never seen before and that most of the threads are about Mythics, MT, and tone - those are the people still having fun. Honestly havenât seen so many hateful voices.
No worries though, we get used to that routine of WoW in our lives for many years letting go isnât easy. I unsubbed and when the day came up last August I couldnât go through with it. Mainly because of all the friends I still had hereâŠand I was still having a bit of fun poking through the game. WoW was our game for awhile. It formed some deep connections (& unfortunatelyfor some; addictions.) Congrats on letting go.
Iâm only playing once in awhile now, and not sure if Iâll follow through when sub runs out. Funny how quickly the space fills in with other stuff.

If a video game is causing a player to have negative mental health, negative emotions, and negative physical health then maybe the player should take some responsibility and step away from the video game.
That is really weird behavior. This is the first âquittingâ thread I have ever seen where the OP comes in on other characters and starts posting. lol
