Check out Steam if you haven’t yet, for single player stuff.

Feels good to get something like The Witcher 3 for 6 bucks and know I can complete it at my own pace whenever I want.

I have to assume that a lot of the posters like this are either looking for attention, or should seriously re-evaluate their priorities. It’s odd, not knowing whether to feel sympathy
or just annoyed.

I feel like anyone truly quitting this game is just going to stop playing and move on. Anyone who posts to tell everyone that they are quitting are just looking for attention and not going anywhere.

You will 100% be back in 9.2 and you know it as well

Exactly how many attempts did you do? We followed as OP tried probably over 1000 attempts. Why do you think she shouldn’t have become discouraged? I’d say it would be the normal response, not “I wasted my time and an immense amount of currency on something I should never have started. I need to pay Blizzard even more money to develop content for other people!”

Some of them, yeah. Then there’s the people who will make a thread letting everyone know they’re taking a break and don’t really have any complaints, just that they’ll miss all the goobers on GD.

The first post I ever saw said she had 800 attempts. That was a couple of weeks ago. I assumed the attempts had increased a bit, which would give us 1000.

I’m guessing you haven’t been following the saga and just needed to make up nonsense to make yourself look edgy.

Yes, there were certain issues. But this is exactly what could have been predicted. Casuals were told to keep hammering away at it. So as the number of attempts increased, so should the burnout.

I guess they managed to prove that forcing casuals into hard content doesn’t magically make them git gud.
