Cancel culture

LOL, people who believe that they and their idols should be immune to consequences of their actions.

You are practicing the same propaganda techniques you claim the other side is guilty of. Typical propaganda strategy, actually.

It sounds like you’re discrediting how important a reputation is though, especially to someone that may not be guilty in the first place. Cancel culture moves quick, and so does the news these days. The last thought someone could have of you is something that’s not true, then when you pop your head up again you have to deal with whatever untrue situation happened all over again.

Not only that, but there is no redemption in a cancel culture society. Everyone’s quick to ruin someone’s life, but how does that person become better? If they’re forever known as whatever scumbag they were left off as, what’s the point in continuing to even let the person live? If they can’t get a job, if they can’t show their face… a bunch of emotional 20-somethings have made a social pariah out of someone and don’t realize the effects of that over a computer screen.

My brain had to take some time to process your post. Still not sure how to make heads or tails of it to be honest. lol

I will try and shorten down what I said then to a simple point.

Basically cancel-culture is just a stage in a long-game of manipulation, it didn’t start there, that’s just one of several steps in controlling a population, to keep people isolated from each other socially and/or economically.

You see you have to divide people up to take control over them. Make sense?

Alright, simple words for a simpler mind is probably what I needed. A little too tin foil hat-esque in my opinion, but it certainly isn’t outside the realm of possibility.

Yeah my Sylvanas posts especially sometimes make my own head spin sometimes so don’t worry about it.

I will like to say this… so ppl dont get it wrong …

I think sometimes canceling a person is reasonable when there is enough physical evidence to warrant it like Suzy deserves to be canceled evidence was there… and same with others…

But I dont think ppl should be canceled over them saying something I hate or something I find hurtful that just means I stop watching em or buying from them …

Now if they are accused of something “illegal” ppl shouldn’t be screaming burn the witch without real evidence proven something illegal happan with physical proof…

The Salem witch trials happan because of something similar to cancle zealot culture just think about that…

I know what you’re talking about but I believe this is about cancel culture as a concept and not a specific thing taking place.

Culture
CULTure.

I think with her “A Message” on YT the other day she kinda freed herself. lol

:sparkles:

It doesn’t make it ok, but what passes for ok business-wise has been under scrutiny for a long time.

Well my only criteria on that is if they actually HAVE broken the law or whatever then yeah. But different between having an opinion and breaking the law.

I understand where you are coming from.

But seriously… stop buying Aluminium Foil. The Cabal is watching whether you have the cloak of invisibility on or not.

And everything you wrote is being recorded. Ditch your ISP, they got you gridlocked now.

Edit: Just poking fun  I did understand what you tried to say.

See that’s y I say when it comes 2 opinions I personally find horrible and wrong I stop supporting w,e said it instend of wanting to cancel them . Others opinion have no power over anyone else

It very much depends on the context. In a lot of cases the responses from people go well beyond a reasonable reaction to something a person has done and becomes a straight up attack mob. Some people just enjoy jumping on a dogpile. It also often leads to harassment of people even vaguely associated with the person being cancelled. The youtuber Contrapoints did a really good video about it after she was “cancelled” by twitter last year. I highly recommend it.

Meh, my experience is that the way I have behaved in my personal life is more or less how this alleged cabal behaves, I mean for example I have found the best way to handle people when they are ganging up on me is to just throw out some lie that one of them is actually on my side being a double agent, sowing the seeds of mistrust between people (I’m usually making it up) and next thing I know people are off my case as they are fighting and arguing with each other.

I sometimes feel quite guilty about it, but I honestly wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t so effective.

Oh I agree. That’s why I used the word Cabal.

You’re not doing yourself any favors here, best you let it alone, seriously. I’m a father of 9 grown children, 3 boys and 6 girls. The only one of my children that had a cellphone growing up was the youngest, and had she come to me and shown me explicit texts from a grown man when she was still underage . . .

Semper Fi! :us:
