Can we talk about the book?

Do I need to start with a book? Is this a series? Is it worth reading?

One of the npc’s there sent me to kill those flying lightning critters near there lol.

Apparently Exploring Eastern Kingdoms is good. It’s very highly rated.

But you’d start there?

I wouldn’t start anywhere.

Afaik these are both isolated books, they’re supposed to operate as an encyclopedia for the relevant regions. So you can read whichever you want, they’re their own thing.

Say what you will about the tenants of national socialism - at least it’s an ethos.

Many old WoW books can be found as PDF’s online.

My level 1 troll can read quest text and letters during the basic horde questing, but a literal diplomat, who is backed by some of the most important people in the horde can’t? Shameful…

The story forms and that thread in particular tend to leave out a lot of things.
Of course bring this up is going to ignite a fire over there of “YOU ARE JUST SAYING THAT BECAUSE YOU ARE insert faction!”

I tried to read that thread for more context and it was 600something posts. I ain’t got that kind of time

Take it from me you are not missing anything, I was new to those forms and I can honestly say it gets into trade chat tier of mug slinging for no reason.
I have never seen people so high strung over video game opinions.

Here’s a couple of pages from that thread.

That would be fun. Everyone tells me I have a nice reading voice. However, guess what? Amazon said my order of Nov. 6th has been delayed. That’s twice a WoW pre-order hardcover book of the recent one’s; the first was the Azeroth Eastern Kingdoms, was not sent at first publication. (So tired of Amazon I’m purchasing at different places, local if possible, as much as I can. That place is evil)

Amazon is the actual devil. Barnes and noble is still a corporation and probably scummy but I try to shop there whenever I can. I’d listen to you read me a bedtime story Lia!

I had long considered reading the wow books, but I think there is better things out there to read. Like the label on my beer.

only those workers who failed to follow directions.

man and for a second I was worried that the Bobby Kotick self insert wouldn’t be seen as much. now they’ve made two bobby kotick insert characters that’s cool to see.

could turn it into a drinking game, take a shot for every retcon you read in the book.

I find it best not to talk about the psychotic book Chromie probably keeps in her dresser drawer…

Unless it’s done with pillows…

Time Warp Trio ref/joke, “The book” (no other name given) transports them to the worst place and time remotely possible with little provocation.
