Can we talk about how terrible the level balancing is?

I dont. I do not like that mage of mine tanking some dungeons because she is so powerful at 10. And yes, I have had to tank a boss on her because of the reason I REALLY do not like the current level scaling.

That tank thought he was invulnerable and was putting a lot of stress on the healer. He pulled too much once and died. I then got to use one CC after another to stay alive while doing large amounts of AoE damage.

Simply put, the current scaling makes people think they are strong and then fail at higher levels.

Its a poor experience for a new player IMO, but as a “veteran” it doesn’t really matter to me that much. I just think it’s stupid

If you are really worried about meters at level 10 you have a entirely different issue you need to look at

as someone else mentioned above and i actually stated somewhere else in a previous post, Mobs scaling is the thing your seeing, because that mob scales to their lvl 10 it inherits resistances and hp equal to that lvl so when they hit it it actually does something else you’d have to do dungeons based off every 5 lvls or so and to be honest they had that system before and it was pointless queing for dungeons lvling back then.

If I’m a brand new player, and I do my first dungeon at lvl 10 as a rogue, and im hitting the mobs for 1% of their HP and then a prot paladin comes up and 1 shots everything on my screen instantly, the first thing im doing is deleting my character and making a new one lol.

I just think it’s a bad experience for a new player.

I just leveled a LF Draenei and maybe I am doing it wrong but I never was able to one shot anyone let alone an elite w/ her death ray.

they are fairly limited on how they can make it work better, and with 10 - 50 not really lasting that long, 2 or 3 days if your slow like me its really not so big a deal i think.

I would be good and bad. It gives people the opportunity for new players to just experiment with their character in a dungeon enviroment without the danger of wiping everytime and gradually getting more difficult as they progress, but it also gives a false sense of security or power for some classes and powerlessness for others.

If it makes you feel any better OP they significantly nerfed Dungeon leveling yesterday so questing is going to be significantly faster for leveling now.

I usually do most DPS in any low level dungeon while leveling my Arcane Mage. There’s always huge disparity in lowbie dungeons, who cares?
