I recall Wintersong in particular, but there were others like a poster named “Shipper” who was Russian and virulently anti-Horde on my discord server - to such a degree, and using such violent rhetoric, that I ended up having to quarantine, and later ban him from it.
Interesting. I don’t know about Wintersong - it seems there was something similar, but not with my memory to remember members of the forum. I don’t know anything about Shipper either.
Maybe they just rarely post on the forum? But the harsh anti-Horde and victorious rhetoric is replaced by self-pity and stories of how bad things are with the night elves. And so the “lunar cycles” change.
There is precedent for Tyrande being a lawyer, as seen in War Crimes atleast.
She was the prosecutor, wasn’t she? Baine - advocate? “Lawyer” is the common name for those practicing jurisprudence?
Aww, poor baby, still a angry little person?
When teldrassil is dealt with, of course. That should hopefully be sometimes during this expansion or at the end of it. We can only hope that blizzard will remedy the situation.
They won’t, not the way you want it resolved anyway
We shall see.
I hope it does to, don’t get me wrong. I just feel a lot of people are setting themselves up for a major disappointment is all.
how could they remedy the situation from your PoV? what would be enough? It’s an honest question.
With the minor amount of storyline that gets expressed in-game, I don’t think it’s likely it will be wrapped up during the Shadowlands expansion.
What I can see happening is this plot being half resolved in-game, and the rest being finished in a novel taking place after Shadowlands before the next expansion. This way the Night Elf fans get their resolution, and the rest of the player base never gets to hear about Teldrassil again; a more than fair trade.
I actually feel like this is the best way to resolve it for the night elf playerbase, simply because of the effort and level of detail that would/should go into making the resolution meaningful.
Which of course, is far more easily-accomplished in a novel.
Beyond crushing Sylvana’s plans and dreams and sending her soul to eternal torment, what the Horde needs to do is actually make ammends, to the Alliance. Public apology from the whole council would be a good start, not just from Thrall who was on vacation. Have the Horde officially leave Allaince lands alone, and have them help rebuild for those that survived. I’d say that’s about it.
That of course depends on how good the resolution is, because blizzard has dug themselves deep.
It’s almost guaranteed that there will be people dissatisfied with the resolution presented by the writers, but more than enough of the story has been centered around the Night Elves, Teldrassil, and Tyrande at this point. The story needs to move on.
Correction: More than enough of the story has been centered on victimizing the Night Elves, Teldrassil, and Tyrande at this point.
Once we get past that, yes, the story can “move on.”
NEFPAs and WFPAs out, this is a tax thread.
Night Elves F… Players Alt.
What is WFPA? Worgen?
I deducted my time spent paying attention to you as charity.
And so do I.
