Can we please release our remix characters early?

I can’t say this with any sort of evidence or certainty, but I would not be surprised if pre-patch didn’t add an NPC to remix that allowed those characters to convert immediately to normal retail characters.

In all honesty, I didn’t expect the remix characters to be released on or before the expansion release. I honestly thought they were going to sit there in limbo for a little while after the expansion.

I guess it goes to show that I viewed things differently from others.

Either way, the characters will be geared enough to do the normal content and the normal dungeons as you level up. Your characters do not need to be over powered getting into the next expansion. Sure it’s nice. But it certainly isn’t a requirement.

Do what I do: after running all of the dailies, do not scrap anything. Go to the upgrade vendor, only upgrade what costs between 10 and 30 Bronze. Then scrap. Because any upgrades in your bags, regardless of gear color, will bring down the cost. You can do that all the way to 346.

I think you can do the heritage armor on a trial class. I haven’t checked this myself but there was a post about it a few days ago.

No, babe, no. Lol

You knew what it was and clicked through all the boxes saying that you agreed.

I don’t even have an opinion on about froggers and all that.

I had a medical emergency come up a week after it released. So, my one tiny character is 30ish. I dont care about power and all that crap. Its on me what I do with my account and the terms and conditions they gave me to play the fun experiment, even if it would make things easier on me to get my fun toys.

Before the end of Remix you could have normal alts leveled from 1, multiples of them. I know you’re capable because it isnt hard, even without the power up fun stuff. So, if thats what you want, go do it. Just dont act like you didnt agree to the time lock and other nonsense.

This “I agreed, but now I don’t now because I decided I didn’t like it after doing it twice,” is straight up silly nonsense. That’s not how it works.

Call a lawyer.
“Hi. I signed this contract and knew all the terms and conditions. But now thatve completed what I wanted really early, I want them to change the agreement.”

Good luck. Lol

seriously now , remix wow was your plan for your new main ?

I don’t know. If you\re not sure how to play the class you want to play, you can do 2 things.

Start a new remix version. Do the quests instead of doing whatever you did to power level and gear to 1 shot things. Take the lower level cloak and just take your time.

Or

Start a new character in retail and play/level it naturally. You can even power level in a few hours if that is your game style.

There is absolutely no reason for them to release remix characters sooner because of these reasons.

Without tabard access you certainly can’t.

Fun fact though, my void elf remix character unlocked heritage armor and another void elf alt was able to do the unlock quest.

So that’s a bandaid solution for people with allied races at least

No people just aren’t upgrading gear. I was struggling on my tank then I once I remembered to upgrade gear it was totally fine and that’s before they adjusted the scaling.

Even if you scrap game remembers what you had.

Wear fresh 346 gear in remix, then you’ll have to learn rotations and how your class plays to do any damage or survive.

Nah, I feel like they’d specifically want you to level a retail character now (if you want to play non-MoP-Remix), or have to wait until TWW launches to play those characters in MoP Remix.

It’s by design, they want you to wait.

For a third option, you could also make a class trial and try them out in some content.

That’s what they’re for :dracthyr_shrug:

I agree at least give us a raid week to play them before launch

Indeed. Surprised I missed that. It’s usually my go to. You have all your abilities and talents and can get a true feel for the character

The scaling is bad but theres a reason they now give you a buttload of free bronze at 70. Cash that in for upgrades if you’re planning on playing that character further and you’re mostly out of the hole.

Heritage quests take like an hour max and why learn a class 2 days before it changes a bunch? There is no prep needed this is coming from someone with 64 lvl 70s

Thats where you play retail and get a feel of that

Talent changes come with the prepatch. We won’t have hero talents until we start leveling in tww. So the talent changes will be in effect already.

Why would anyone be upset if they allowed the early release of MOP remix characters? I personally want it to begin farming transmogs and get a better feel for the rotation in retail. If you don’t want to early release your character, then don’t do it.
