Have they announced when prepatch begins? If the full expansion releases Aug 22-26, wouldn’t prepatch likely begin even before Remix ends?
If people wanted a traditional leveling experience and “time to learn the class” then the retail leveling and end game experience was right there for them to utilize.
Remix is a place for being OP, leveling spares, and collecting stuff. Level in retail if you want to learn how the class plays in retail.
Still got plenty of time to do it, too!

I don’t have a problem if they were to do that. But honestly we both know they won’t.
There’s a lot of momentum you have to build in an organization like Blizzard to make a change like that and by the time people managed to get the idea moving, remix will already be done.
I also posted about this a couple days ago. I’m finished with remix and I wanna take my remix monk to retail and start unlocking its legion order hall content. I don’t want to go back to DF. Please don’t make me go back to DF.

To be fair you’ll have to level them up to 80 in the new expansion, which will provide that experience.
I wouldn’t mind their early release, because Remix is just not alt friendly at all. Like you play an alt and it is great fun while leveling. You feel powerful, you tear through raids like they’re nothing. It rules. Then you get to mid 60s and suddenly you’re as sturdy as a bubble bath. Once you get to 70 you gotta put in an insane amount of work to get that alt strong. And it’s just not worth it. You’ve got your main timerunner to worry about. So that alt you were having a great time on is just going to sit there until it ends. It’s an amazingly efficient way to get some alts to 70, but the fun gets snatched away from you far too quickly.

make a trial blood elf/draenei do the quest for the heritage armor and then delete the trial. i cant help with the 2nd half of that but the first will at least allow you to get the transmog

I can’t speak for the OP, but I want to do professions. Not that I need to, but I want to.
Nothing goes forward into profs so just pick up level 1 whatever and you’re g2g
Use the mail method and skip that whole range 
My mage went from 38 to 70 in about 45 seconds.

Well, you’ll have a couple days to earn the armor. It doesn’t take long.
And our classes change somewhat at launch anyway. I know I’ll be spending my time the first day I get to play just going through and redoing talents on pretty much every character.
Theoretically, the prelaunch gear will be Warbound, so at least we’ll have that waiting for them, too.

Yeah I did that 4 times over the weekend. Well actually, the first three didn’t get me all the way to 70, which was a problem. Because getting those last couple of levels with crap gear is bad. And in fact, even if it gets you to 70 you’re then stranded with crappy gear. And paying to upgrade is expensive. So for me it was just a bunch more alts on the shelf. Granted, I was leveling them for the bonus bronze to buy everything. So it’s not for nothing. But still. It’s a fantastic method for getting lots of alts to 70 quickly. Fastest one for me was a little over three hours. But after doing it so many times I realised it just takes away a bit chunk of the fun in remix. For me at least.
Eh, just queue for some more heroic dungeons. 95% of the time there’s someone with 3 million health who’s gonna just blow through it and leave the loot for you so it’s not like you having crap gear will matter, and you’ll quickly get loot at its highest drop level to either equip or upgrade what you already have up to for cheap.
I am in this boat too. I have a 64 priest, a 60 warrior and a 62 warlock and since it takes like 8-10 hours to level 1-70 in remix (going slow and questing like I do) It would be faster almost to just delete them and re-level them in remix at this point. Considering I’ve already got all the stuff I want from Remix and don’t want/need anything in Retail, I am really considering it as just something to do until TWW comes out.

Yeah i did a heroic dungeon on a fresh level 70 and was getting 1 shot by regular attacks.
I was absolutely useless to my poor teammates.
Go back a few hours, and i was the one doing the one shoting.
The scaling really ruins it at level 70.

Wonder why they didnt just allow a one way ticket out of the event from the start?
You get to a point where youre ‘done’ and you opt out and cant go back with that character.

people in my guild told me about it. its the main reason some are leveling toons.
im 100% banking on this being true in the off chance what i want to play for tww isnt 1 of the 3 im trying to decide between. anything but them is in pretty crap gear so any extra gear to not feel weak being on the warband would be awesome for gearing alts
