Can we give Void Elves the Green Eyes?

It was not a minority group. Otherwise you wouldn’t see it in the game now. Or why do you think the Worgen-players still don’t have their tails and claw attacks? They are a real minority.

Sometimes I feel bad for the enemy in PvP, but then I remember that whatever we’re doing to them they would have no issues doing to us, should why should I feel bad? It’s just the name of the game.

I remember when they almost made Rommath an undercover Twilight Cultist Traitor like Benedictus in Stormwind during Cataclysm. I’m so happy that didn’t make it into live :skull:

All it takes is personally causing one Elemental Shaman Mass-Casualty Incident to be hooked to throwing people off mountains for life

I only recently found out about that.

Also happy that never made it in.

I always wondered if this was meant to tie to a plot beat they completely let die (the blurb describing the state of Quel’thalas post wrath makes it roughly a mirror of the return of the shen’drelar, with tensions between farstriders and magisters who chafe a bit at not running the country anymore , yada yada)

As a setup to villain bat an increasingly exasperated Grand Magister it could work but with Cata’s patented writing it would have been shoehorned in (iirc instead they had an orc trainer turn? I think?). Besides they basically never did anything with the tensions part of the concept other than replacing the Kael’thas statues with generic ancient elven statues.

(as for OP’s request I’m at a point where I’m just “sure, why not”, my velf alt will remain blueberry until Midnight but if they give full farstrider customizations to both sides (especially belves) I absolutely do not care what else gets asked for, on a purely selfish level - then again I doubt the factions will still exist the way they used to by the end of the Worldsoul trilogy)

I vaguely recall the female elf statues, but I think the Kael’thas statues are still present within Silvermoon’s entrance? (unless you’re talking about the blurb)

I could be wrong though, I haven’t been to Silvermoon in ages.

Makes me excited for Midnight though. An updated Silvermoon with modern day standards has been a wish for years now.

I don’t know why I never got a notification for this but, excuse me, what?

Back in Cata they wanted to have both factions have high up traitors to the Twilights Hammer Cult. The Alliance one was Archbishop Benedictus. They were going to have Rommath be the one for the Horde but changed their minds and went with a minor orc character.

Once again alliance loyalists ask to steal blood elf stuff. This is getting tiresome.

You’re all traitors anyway. What elf would ally themselves with an Orc?

Get that Tolkien stereotype out of your head and stop the bait trolling. No one is falling for it. We are past the point where elves are only allowed to be friends with humans.

Orcs burned Eversong and allied themselves with the Amani, then Thrall’s “new” Horde allied themselves with another set of trolls. Thirdly, Void elves aren’t getting green eyes and I’m just having some fun.

The Amani are no longer part of the Horde. Horde canonically killed Zul’jin and sieged Zul’Aman twice. And it was the scourge that destroyed Quel’thalas fully not the Horde led by the HUMAN prince Arthas. Darkspear are not related to the group that aided the old Horde. Stop being racist.

Oh, Erevien. Go and enjoy the game, for once.

So what im hearing is, void elves should just get all of the blood elf options. That way people have nothing left to ask for.
Great suggestion.

Seriously, just make all races neutral already. This constant Kindergarten behavior on the forums is just… oof.

I actually agree.

If the faction war is over and all the content in the game is going to be shared between the two factions, then factions have no point.

Right now, the faction barrier just gets in the way.

Sounds more like people having a delayed mid-life crisis because of WoW elves.

The factions may remain, but the way they’ve been handled for almost 20 years only leads to extremely toxic behavior. This is evident on a daily basis, both from the devs and the players.
Neither do the devs manage to treat the factions even remotely fairly, nor do the players manage to behave like normal adults, to the point where they prefer to argue daily like preschoolers over such trivial matters as eye color in this case.

Honestly, I can only recommend to anyone with such childish behavior to try playing something other than WoW, where there are color palettes alongside other modern adjustments and where there is also no outdated and more than questionable racial segregation as a basis for an entire game. Then perhaps some people will realize how foolishly they’re behaving here… which of course ultimately goes back to the devs, who actively encourage such behavior.

No. Blizzard already gave in twice and the high elf fanatics are still not satisfied. At this rate this is just peak trolling.
