I’m fine with keeping factions, let us party up though. Even let Horde and Alliance visit each other’s capital cities. I mean if Baine was allowed to walk freely in Stormwind.
As I said, the factions can remain, even continue with minor conflicts if they must. However, the only exclusive things should not extend beyond transmogs and mounts, as well as things that can be obtained through PvP.
Races, on the other hand, are a crucial factor that forces many to play something they might not even like, and that’s where all the fun stops. Hence, they should have been neutral for a long time.
What Blizzard is attempting now, by giving the other faction copy & paste versions, like female humans, night elves with a slightly altered model and dwarves for the Horde and blood elves with more than questionable lore for the Alliance, is just plain stupid and looks extremely cheap.
They might as well treat the races naturally and let them decide freely like the Pandaren. The whole concept of racial segregation als a pillar of this game is just…
Regarding the cities, well, the Horde now has access to two Alliance cities, precisely from the two races that would have the most reason to keep the Horde at a distance. So, we’ll see how that plays out.
I love my tentacles
Don’t you think the void elf concept has been diluted enough already?
It’s mostly high elf customizations and very little void customizations.
I know the goal of ambitions is to eliminate the void all together.
Also, we don’t need a 5th elf race.
My reply was to Erevien.
Its more fun to be pro alliance options with him.
If you know him, you know why haha.
But honestly, all blood elves have that void elves dont is green eyes and some hair options so im not worried about it diluting the void from void elves.
The greatest damage that could be done has already happened and we survived.
And i say that as a void elf fan with no interest in non void high elves.
If i wanted to play a non void high elf, id just play a blood elf. Theyre the same people as void elves, just without the void.
I should note that i in no way want void elves to ever get the yellow holy light eyes. Not even as a joke
Ah yes, because it’s the high elves who want the green eyes and not the people who actually enjoy void elves and want a sort of nod to their roots (lore) as blood elves.
Well, you’ve already got humans walking around Orgrimmar, considering Dracthyr visage forms. Soon you’ll have dwarves over there too.
Just admit you hate the idea of elves being Horde in the first place. And literal demons have no room to talk.
I mean let’s just add humans to the horde then since it’s supported by lore. Lol.
I mean what is definitely consistent is blizzard neglecting horde fantasy considerably for the last 3 expansions in a row and if you’re gonna deny that you’re just delusional.
I wouldnt say they did in bfa.
In bfa it was a very horde focused main story.
Although i think the alliance got the better small stories.
And for shadowlands and dragonflight i would say neither faction got anything of note.
Each got a few bones thrown their way. But unless your faction identity was all about sylvanas and tyrande, it was pretty neutrally nothing.
Not sure what tww will bring yet. Or if you can even count tww as its own thing as its part 1 of a trilogy.
This is what I’d prefer. Keep factions as a matter of story and lore because the ideologies of both sides are too disparate for them to ever truly be the same group, then let the players do as they will. We already do canonically.
It also lets there still be little skirmishes and scuffles between the Horde and Alliance in Lore for real reasons.
Not really… Its just skin tones that they added and some hair colors… many of those hair colors even work really well for the Blue skinned Void Elves.
I know what you meant but as a matter of gentle argument. Those are not humans they’re dracthyr!
While they’re at it…
Alterac for the Horde!
I have seen and heard nothing from Blizz to suggest new Void Elves are being created, i.e., that additional recruiting is ongoing. I do agree that most Rendorei have Blood Elf heritage. So the question would be whether the void exposure necessarily changed eye color, or whether it was case-by-case. Or perhaps their old fel exposure was stronger than their new void exposure. I suppose that’s Blizz’s call either way.
No, it gives me a race that I like for when I do stuff with my friends, who play Horde, besides Vulpera.
Honestly though, I just want there to be no factions or at least be allowed to do queued content and open world content cross-faction (yes, I know you can technically do open world content cross faction, but as someone who prefers to heal, I can’t really do my job if I’m on the opposite faction because Blizz said “I know you’re partied together, but you’re still unfriendly to each other.” )
Lol sorry, I can change into a regular blue skin tone, will that give me more room to talk?
Personally, I’m neutral on whether or not void elves get green eyes, but I think this a genuine ask by Cerkov.
It’s sad to think back on how cool Void Elves were as a concept and could of been if they would of stuck with that and furthered that concept but now they are just bargain bin Blood Elves with really bad hair, all because certain people just had to have the blue background to play pretend instead of just playing the actual race on Horde side.
Just did the Worgen starting area. not only did Horde bomb, flood, poison, and invade, to decimate Gilneas, but the survivors all were taken in by—Darnassus!
How long ago did that tree burn? I play/ enjoy both factions… but it just makes no in game sense that Horde are now ok in Gilneas. But----fantasy world
Unironically yes
Since void elves are blood elves, i think it makes perfect sense to get green eyes.
And logical customisation trumps blood elf cry babies.
But i also am not fussed either way.
I love how my void elf looks right now and so can take or leave it.
The green eyes are from fel corruption. Can anyone survive void+fel?
I know that light+void = explosion of fel, but what happens when void and fel come into contact?
