They do, void corrupted High Elves which are Void Elves with pretending customization options to pretend like they aren’t actually Void Elves, macro off the blue glowing racial and they have the so called fantasy.
You know what I mean Naughty. Plus they’d need the Blood elf hair styles as well to fulfill the so called fantasy.
Ya know, I hate this. I’m now thinking about changing my Blood Elf Mage to Warlock on the Area52 server and in his place making a Nightborne Mage. Though I might go Undead Mage… No no… maybe? I need more character slots for my idiot self.
I was always in the camp that people asking for stuff from us should of asked for our hairstyles above everything else due to how bad their hairstyles were but they wanted our skintones, eye colors and hair colors for the High Elf fantasy and they got them so the whole blonde, blue eyed fair skinned thing is there for them if they actually want it.
Oh believe me I understand. I was pretty much in the camp of Void Elf staying voidy but I’ve come to like the normal skintone Void elf as I like to think of them as the second generation. HIgh/Blood elves who came to Telogrus Rift and took on a more Alleria style void aspect rather then the botched transformation the Nexus-Prince forced.
But regardless the people wanting High elves don’t want Void elves with natural skin tones. They want a copy-paste allied race of the Blood elves with their own racials and voice lines (which honestly is starting to piss me off).
Afterwhile I just say give it to them if it shuts them up.
Fine by me just keep in mind you clearly lost your hairstylist when you went from High Elf/Blood Elf to Void Elf and that’s why you have the bad hairstyles, that’s my way of seeing it.
I literally just deleted what I was about to post because of you. Was gonna say the same, this is my headcanon too LMAO, I just see it as the Stormwind Barbers not knowing what to do with Thalassian Elf Hair.
It’s like a homie from east brooklyn traveling to kentucky and hitting up Supercuts.
I often wish Allied races were never a thing. One of those cool on paper, failed executions, like Garrisons. I liked them at first but even my idiot self can see it opened a can of worms best left sealed.
I feel you, I’m one of those people that wishes they would of just been customizations for the Core Races like Wildhammer and Man’ari are so they’d represent something but still be just customizations but oh wells.
God, this. I cannot stress how much I see the Mag’har race was a set of customization options for base orcs. Hell Lightforged and Highmountain aren’t all that different from their core races.
Lol, I always say Highmountain Tauren are just more hairy Tauren with antlers instead of horns because legit that’s really all they are.
This is incorrect, and you would actually find evidence and news entries about this online. Dragonflight was one of the fastest selling expansions ever.
I haven’t read the whole argument made by both sides, but this is about the High Elf options for the Alliance? No offense, you’re an American, you don’t look across the other side of the world. BellularGaming went into detail how the request came to fruition.
- The feedback around the globe was very clear that the people don’t like the Void Elf race. This is no US-forum only thing, this discussion and request went on everywhere, where Blizzard gathers feedback from the Community Managers.
- The “new blood” of the developers requested to add these changes and the staff agreed in giving the Void Elf this subrace
- They needed a “win” during the ripcord of SL and the lawsuits with the 9.1.5 patch.
This is what actually happened.
It doesn’t matter, who plays what. What matters is, that you are all too caught up disliking each other about the most bland player race in the game.
To be fair, they introduced the regular back Orcs and have different racials with the Mag’har Orcs, which is a big win. Not even the Forsaken or Worgen got something like this. Or Trolls, for the matter. But the whole system needs to overhauled, so you get to pick the base design, the race and the racials. On top of that, both human and orc racials need to be nerfed into the ground.
Depends on the race.
Void elf, nightborne, kul tiran, and vulpera couldnt be done as normal customisation.
Allied races like Lightforged draenei absolutely could have just been customisation
Then don’t have them. Simple. Look what’s done is done and we just have to figure out how to navigate this new WoW. Pretty soon Horde and Alliance will be joining group content in the world in parties and you’ll have Orcs walking around stormwind and Humans in orgrimmar.
I still stand by that Kul’tiran should have just been a body size customization for humans since most of the important Kul’tirans use the SW human body.
Body size choices for all races other than just Dracthyr when?!
Wow, not even a mention of Grand Magister Rammoth, fake former blood elf. SMH
Yea… but that Haymaker though. I’ll admit when I tried Kul’Tiran Warrior and pulled a massive pack, tanking them down. Throwing the occasional Haymaker to launch some poor fool out of the pack like it was a bar room brawl. And launching enemies off ledges with a straight right.
God… it’s a dopamine hit.
Though I do personally wish Pandaren at a body size choice for slimmer pandaren. heresy I know but I’ve been thinking of making a lady Pandaren for Alliance but just… can’t.
Just wait and see until it throws you off a cliff in pvp. My experiences in Naz’jatar were so hilarious that I started to play an Alliance Kul Tiran Rogue because of this.
I don’t PvP, I don’t think I could be that much of a prick to do that to someone… eh, actually maybe I would be. Either way I don’t PvP so we’ll never know.
You’re right. Why would I care about the other side of the world? I am here where things matter.
Anyway, giving the alliance these options was a mistake, and continuing to damage another race’s identity is entirely selfish and is a problem. They should not listen to minority groups anywhere.
