Anything that makes Void Elves less of a thing in lore. I’m all for it.
I wish they just made us a neutral race or something. They’re clearly doing that now, but with extra steps. And those extra steps inserted a ton of awful lore that hurt both sides in the end.
Can you go into more detail on why people don’t think hes a high elf?
I’ve never heard anyone consider his visage to be anything other than a high elf.
Ah, I see what you mean now, sorry. The way that was worded made it sound as if the Void Elves might all erupt into holyfire if they came within ten miles of the Sunwell or something.
As for the Sunwell being attacked by a Void Entity because Alleria was a couple of feet away, I don’t see how that’ll be a problem come Midnight, when the Void will already be attacking Quel’Thalas anyways. Considering Alleria was instrumental in securing the Sunwell the last time that happened, I imagine the Void Elves might be needed to protect it again.

I can’t really speak for anyone else, honestly.
There’s just been speculation around his visage form and why its so different from other elves. His form could absolutely be a High Elf, but its certainly unique from modern High Elves.

Add the color to the race, I suppose, just lock it to the natural skin tones.

The devs included the natural skin and hair tones specifically as High Elf customizations. So, while you’re welcome to RP your Void Elf any way you want, canonically, the intent behind those customizations was to allow players to play as High Elves.

I mean, I quoted what the devs said. I can understand if you don’t like it or don’t agree, but its right there. They added those customizations so players could choose to play as a High Elf on either faction if they so chose.

Just add green and gold eyes only for natural skin colors like the red eyes of the dark ranger skin.
