Maybe because Void Elf hairstyles are ugly, kind of like Void Elf skintones and jewelry and most of the hair colors and thatâs why people including yourself uses our customizations instead of your own.
So perhaps youâd get a better response if you was asking for actual new and higher quality hairstyles for Blood Elves not just a port over from Void Elves when basically nobody including most actual Void Elf players wants to use them.
Again I donât really see Blizzard making an actual capital city neutral especially when the focus is the Sunwell and Quelâdanas is right there, a place weâve already worked hand in hand in.
Like I said, I may be wrong but Iâm not betting on Silvermoon being neutral.
It also literally does not matter to me if it is or isnât btw.
Iâm just speculating on what I think will actually be happening.
Again, my main is a blood elf and I want void elf hairstyles on my blood elf, I like the void elf hairstyles more. Iâve repeated this like multiple times in this thread.
???
Youâre genuinely only one of the âbad responsesâ because most people just donât care about people asking for more hairstyles of all things on their characters. Itâs not really a debate anyone cares about. Itâs just hair.
You are also in the minority which is nice given I can pull up a whole lot of replies from other threads about how ugly Void Elf hairstyles are including this thread which is why it was necroed other day is a Void Elf wants more of our stuff.
There is nothing wrong with it but thereâs also nothing wrong with having a difference between two races and wanting them to have that furthered where they donât share everything in this case hairstyles, the homogenization between Blood Elves and Void Elves thus far has cringe and one sided as it is anyway.
You got me, Iâm actually part of the void elf illuminati and I only play this game to try to get blood elves to use void elves hairstyles so that whenever you see them it completely ruins the game for you. Youâve foiled my devious plans to ruin the game just for you specifically over seeing a hairstyle.
Iâm very excited to see the QuelâThalas revamp just because Iâm very curious to see what the new geography ends up being in order to make it line up with the rest of the Eastern Kingdoms. I would think the Draenei islands would actually be easier to revamp since theyâre not a continuous landmass with Kalimdor, unlike whatever will have to be done to make flying directly north from Eastern Plaguelands possible.
Honestly, Iâm more optimistic about the story being good after DF and TWW so far. Thereâs still room to improve, of course, but the approach to the main story feels more thoughtful and less driven entirely by Rule of Cool. It feels like the devs working on the main narrative have an actual plan. I love that the launch campaign for TWW has an actual resolution at the end that addressed the immediately urgent plot points put forward at the beginning of the story! Itâs clearly not the end of the whole story, but we didnât get another mystery cliffhanger dropped on top of us at the last second! Iâm looking forward to the next major patch because I actually want to see where the narrative goes next, not because I feel I have to thanks to an annoying cliffhanger that gave me no resolution.
In terms of expansion quest hubs, I think it will depend on when the attack on the Sunwell happens relative to the rest of the expansion and how successful it is. It could be the end of the launch campaign, perhaps as part of the first raid, in which case setting up on QuelâDanas makes sense. It could also be a major set piece at the beginning of the expansion, similar to the Broken Shore, in which case we might start out someone on the borders of QuelâThalas and work our way towards QuelâDanas over the course of the patch, and the hub could be literally anywhere as long as there are portals available.
I agree entirely. Belâameth and Gilneas are still Alliance cities, only âneutralâ in that Horde players are allowed to visit without being attacked, but they have not left the Alliance. I donât think Silvermoonâs going to leave the Horde just because thereâs some sort of reconciliation with a relatively small number of exiles. Allow Alliance players into previously Horde-exclusive spaces due to the combination of the armistice and the current crisis? Sure, thatâs no different that what we did in the Emerald Dream in DF. Leave the Horde? That makes no sense at this point.
Iâm also speculating.
I think weâll see Arator again at Midnight, maybe he could have an important role like allowing the alliance to enter Silvermoon.
I cannot wait to see it the first time my belf mage flies over the edge of EPL back into a revamped homeland! Curious to see those borders and new things that may lie there. Oh! That little area to the west of Quelâthalas as well!
And yeah I agree, making the Azuremyst Isles line up should be infinitely easier as ocean level should be fairly static. There be a reason games have used islands for their game settings since the start.
Would love to be able to fly from Darkshore to Azuremyst though.
Yesss the story writing I think is benefitting from Metzenâs return and his appointment to basically keep the story focused and well done. For the first time in awhile I find Iâm quite enthralled even though Iâm actually not playing that much right now. I still have complaints of course but the story ainât got no major ones so far.
I also agree here. We know nothing more than the Sunwell is a focus and that Quelâthalas and thereabouts will be updated. I could easily see us work towards the Sunwell or not depending on when it actually becomes threatened and how. I could easily see the coming together of the Elven Tribes being a later expansion thing that we wont actually see come to fruition until long after Midnight begins. Which honestly I think would make a lot of sense. High void and blood elves all have a lot to work out between one another.
Yeah this. This is exactly how I think it will basically be. The Blood Elves are still going to be Horde, the High Elves will still be Alliance the Void Elves will still be Alliance. Weâll just have the ability to be in the area as Alliance like the Horde can be in the area around Gilneas and Belâameth. Nothing really neutral about it. Weâve an armistice so it makes sense for the story to go that route.
But a neutral Silvermoon without the Horde Flag over the city? That seems very unlikely to me as far as a hub.
I could be wrong of course, and Iâll jive with it either way, but I very much doubt its going to happen.
I suspect Terran Gregory may be part of that as well. He finally joined the WoW team officially a few years ago, and Metzen mentioned him specifically in his interview with Scott Johnson as the principal story developer that Metzen works with daily to help map out the overall plot. The cinematics team has certainly gotten more attention and resources lately if the greater number of cutscenes is any indication, though Iâm not sure if they all moved over to Team 2 with Terran or if theyâre mostly still part of SF&D.
I am fairly confident you are just one of those miserable people that does not want others to enjoy the game if it not your way. You donât have to respond, I have been following your responses, its all been negative.
Oh yeah! I hope they keep with that. The quality and quantity of cinematics have greatly improved and I think its a good way to keep the story working without it looking as janky as it has in the past. Some things just deserve the flourish.
